evolution is not the answer to most of the important questions about life and how it got here.. if current evolutionary ideas are true they only tell a very small part of the story.. simply how random changes to animate and inanimate things can be mechanicly selected by sutible enviroments and prosper in them.. there is still lots about us to explain.. what is the source of the matter in our universe, what caused the "big bang"?.

what is consciousness and how does it work?.

what causes the fundemental forces and how do they work?.

I don't know if the theory of evolution is the truth but, I do know that it is the best explanation that we have presently to explain why there's life on earth.

Thoughts about Depression and Anxiety

this is mostly directed to others that were born/raised in the cult.

more specifically those raised in the cult who also suffered from severe depression and/or social anxiety disorder or any other mental illness (other than the normal probs that come with being in the borg).

sometimes i wonder if its just me that doesnt feel like a person now.

I read your post and it almost seemed that you were describing me. I have no real personnalities althought a therapy helped me to find who I really am. It's hard for me to find my real interest and often, I will follow the interest of another person thinking that I will be a cool person by doing this.

sometime, i'd just like to say goodbye cruel world but, it would be too easy to do this.

when i was in the borg, they were telling me that when someone go out of the org, he have a lot of problems and that's exactly what happen to me.

Thanks for your support. It feel good to see that I'm not alone in this situation. Personnally, I don't feel the need to go to another church but sometime, I'm so depressed that I would like to come back into the WBTS. Also, I read something about cognitive dissonance here: http://www.propaganda101.com/SocialPsychology/cognitiv.htm and that really make sense because, we learned that the peoples outside of the org face a lot of problems so, our mind is programmed to follow this affirmation. Then, if we effectively have a lot problems, that reduce the amount of cognitive dissonance because we act exactly the way as we were taught in the WBTS.

I' so tired of this. Sometime, I'd just like to say goodbye cruel world but, it would be too easy to do this. When I was in the borg, they were telling me that when someone go out of the org, he have a lot of problems and that's exactly what happen to me. I don't know what to do during the week-end and I'm always alone and I still don't know what is real friend. I have the "Shawshank redemption" syndrom because I suffer so much from my loneliness that I would like to come back in this fucking WatchTower. I saw a psychologist and she just told me that I had a lot of irrational thoughts and this was the cause of my social phobia. Now what, that doesn't solve my problem. I'm wondering why the hell do I have to live on this earth if it's just to be a jerk with no social life.

personnally, i studied during two years in computer science technology but i gave up and i still don't know where to go next year.

i thought of civil engineering but i don't know if i'll like it.
