I know... not trying to be hard on him, just trying to open his eyes. I love him dearly and he does have a good heart. Baldness is a sickness as well, you don't see many bald hippies. They are all just sick... Armageddon is a slow process in my humble opinion... time to wake up, will they ever?

Laughter is the best medicine is it not? Dude, I don't know wether to laugh or cry, I love my brother deeply and my entire family. This is kinda like a missing person add, I want my brother back, I want my family back... I am not one to give up easy on any of them. Maybe if he see's this, he will see how he really is, a picture is worth a thousands words.

Print it and put it on the Kingdom Hall door, just don't let them see you 007 :)

Edit: I would just like to say.. he never has said anything like this but this is the type of arrogant attitude he has as well as many elders including the governing body as most of you know. He puts me down to my face and he gossips about me to everyone making himself look good in the process. I just got fed up with it... My brother does have a good heart, he is just mislead, this is not who he really is, this is what he has become, sick.

I hear you Darryl, Totally understand what you are going through. You are trying to make since of everything you have been taught your entire life and it does not add up. I never met Jesus, but I know how the story goes and if he did exist... I would like to think a man like him did exist... if so there is no reason to fear him! There is no need to fear Revelation because Jesus is not a hateful killer like the God of Israel. He said, "Your God is a man slayer and the father of the lie." He abolished their law. In Revelation it says he is coming with a sword in his mouth. That represents WORDS and WORDS kill the EGO. That is all he ever did was kill peoples egos and heal people according to the Bible. Sounds like he practiced Yoga to me or something and they twisted it all. He even forgave those who killed him. He also said when the son of man returns, will he find the faith on Earth? Apparently not, I have looked and I cannot find anything like it in so called Christainity. Jesus was a psychic and practiced magic if you think about it right? Something they made us fear. He preached "You are gods" and said you can't take that out... I went to many churches too, nobody teaches that in Christianity that I know of. Did he find the faith when he came the first time? Nope. All you can do is be good and cause others no harm. Treat people nice. The Apocalypse is nothing to fear if Jesus is the one bring it so hold your head up high and work on getting heathy, maybe take a Yoga class or join a gym. Take care and don't worry, BE HAPPY!!! :)

Thank you for saying that crazy light, I do love my father but he finally got to me. Said he had no respect for me as a human being recently, that did it for me. I am very emotional right now. Couldn't sing it if I wanted to at the moment but it is in my head. The truth is I did make him rich and a few others. We were in the Toy business and I am the one who started it. We had a agreement, a handshake, and he screwed me all the way. My resentment has eaten me up and it has been very hard to move on. My mother told me on her death bed to stay away from my father and brother, she said I am not like them and she loved me very much. I was with her for six months going from hospital to hospital (stage 4 cancer) while my brother was living it up, going to Hawaii and China. We marketed the Stomp Rocket. Top Ten Toy in the nation in Plaything magazine for 10 years. They put their homes and mine in their names and the company. When I came out as Greybeard on jwstruggle.com my wife left and family kicked me out of the corporation without me even knowing it... So there you go. Just like their "Mother" the Watchtower treats their own. You serve all you life for broken promises and then your thrown to the curb.

i just posted the prologue to my novella "armageddon's slaves" on my blog.

chapters will follow at one or two day intervals.

the whole thing is about thirty chapters, so it should be up in about a month.. i need feedback, so let me know what you think.

i've read many statements on this forum from people who have expressed the sentiment that you don't shove ttatt down the throat of an older person.

it would be too traumatic and its best to let some people, in some situations, simply pass on in the delusion.. its humane.

merciful.. in the initial roar of my awakening, i was unable to cuddle up to that sentiment; preferring, instead, to shove the blood curdling shock of truth down the throat of anyone i could get my grip on... age be dammed.

Thank you for sharing this. It made me think of my father who is a JW getting old. He would not ask me to say a prayer. He probably wouldn't even see me. If he did he would ask me to "come back to Jehovah" and we all know what that means. Bow down to the men who rule over Jehovah Witnesses without question.

What you did was not easy but very loving and merciful.

Funny how they totally ignore the real reason most people think they preach sheer nonsense. What have they preached? If what they preached was actually true, none of us or these "worldly people" would even be here. They presented all their messages as undeniable facts. They made promises for God as his chosen "mouthpiece" and "a prophet like Ezekiel." It is clear they are not directed by God and they preach commandments of men as doctrine just like Ray Franz the X-GB member realized as soon as he became a member of the GB. Thank you Ray Franz for waking up and writing your books!
