Dear doubt,
Dr. Schulz is very old, and I have health issues. But we have books outlined to 1977. Don't know if we'll ever write them because of circumstances, but I'd love to do it.
can someone direct me to jw refutations of the harsh criticisms of charles russell and judge rutherford that are on the internet and youtube?
i am a fair person and insist on hearing both sides to a controversy.
in this case, i would like to know what traditional yw responds to such personal criticisms and alleged changes in beliefs.

Yes, I post here occasionally. Thanks for the kind words about our book. I didn't recommend it because it's not a defense of Russell and Rutherford is seldom mentioned in it. But yes, an honest seeker after historical 'truth' would benefit from reading Separate Identity. [We're busy finishing volume 2] and maybe our biography of Barbour.

download the Watchtower CD.
has anyone been able to verify that fred franz received the minimal training in ancient greek that he claimed gave him the expertise to translate the bible?
you would think that would be fairly easy to verify or disprove in this day and age.
what college did he attend?
The issue isn't Hebrew grammar but English grammar. Reflexive pronouns are not best grammar in American English. I did not suggest that Franz couldn't translate; I suggested his English language word choices were not best grammar.

Kingdom Interlinear draws from Vine's Expository Dictionary. It is almost entirely drawn from Vine's. The KI if full of scholarship because it borrows from a true scholar. Compare the two.
Examples of poor grammar? Use of reflexive pronouns, especially in the OT. ie: He himself.

BB, I haven't read the transcript in 2-3 years, but that's my memory. You could very well be correct.

Franz was asked not to translate a verse from Greek but back into Greek. I do not know of any Greek scholar willing to do that. However, the NWT is even in its new version, very poor. The English grammar is wretched.

Last,
Yet here you are back reading my posts. ... I understand that you do not like the Watchtower and are incurious about its past. But you're also obsessed with it. Shame. Probably explains why you became a Witness in the first place and why you didn't stay.
here are some quotes by the guy, from his youtube channel.
his name is stefan molyneux, and he’s apparently popular among the alt-right crowd.
he’s also widely quoted on these discussion boards, by certain ex-jws, who use him to help promote their political views.
When I was pursuing my education degree I found Intelligence described as the ability to more and more closely associate ideas. I think that covers all of the definitions of intelligence. It covers social skills, survival skills, academic skills.
Without question an IQ test can indicate intelligence, but unless you're joining MENSA, it does not indicate much. For instance, if it takes you ten days to figure out a problem and it takes your friend ten minutes, are you less intelligent? You figured it out, right? Maybe it was a type of problem you'd never encountered before. Next time you see a similar problem, you will have experience to guide you. It will not take you as long to reach a solution.
Being quick witted may be nice, but alone it does not mean you're a superior human. Behavior is what matters. A misbehaving genius is a fool. An mentally under-performing but kind-hearted person is his superior.
