At seven years old my young cousin knows that the annual celebration is not called "Passover." Even the most disinterested Witness child would know that. There are other elements in the original post that do not fit Witness usage that even a young person who would rather be playing a video game would not use.

Theological difference may seem extreme to those of us who believe differently, but the issue in Russia is political extremism. Witnesses are not a threat to the state. I believe that is the issue.
if someone comes to you with a knife or a gun, would you defend yourself if you could?
if someone tried to beat you up , would you physically engage, run away or just try to talk the person out of beating you up or robbing you?
if you did have a gun to defend yourself would you shoot to kill or would you simply aim for the ankle to incapacitate the person?
If you shoot to maim, it might not stop the attack, and the criminal can turn around an sue you. Personally, a clear shot to the heart of head is my choice, and yes, I have a pistol. It was my mom's; now it's mine. And I'm a very good shot.

I think we're over rating the ethics of journalists. Aside from which the author is an attorney, a profession with equally questionable ethics.
another incredible catch from a you tuber, this time jane doh, who caught watchtower fooling us again, this time over the reasons beth sarim was really built.. of course we knew rutherford lived in beth sarim during the winter (ostensibly because of his poorly chest🙄).

because at the time it was built, in the 1920s, watchtower had no belief that anyone was to live on a "paradise earth" - they had not even formulated the concept of a paradise earth yet for the ancient worthies to live on and believed all jws were to live in heaven.
Belief in a paradise earth is found in Zion's Watch Tower from Russell's day. It wasn't new in the 1920s/1930s. What was new was seeing the Great Multitude [Great Crowd] as an earthly 'class.' Prior to 1935 they believed them to be a secondary heavenly class. So in this case there really isn't a lie.
