Do you have a page number?
i was wondering if you could prove with "original" independent documents that rutherford was an alcoholic.... .
i read penton, but since he is a former jw he could not be considered an independent source.... .

but the entire congregation is not to be informed or mark the person.
the only repercussions are that the individual who is aware of it can decide to "mark" them and not go to the local club or bar with the individual, but they are still obligated to go door to door in the ministry with them, and even speak to them at the kn as if nothing is wrong and not feel obligated to tell anyone else?
this is crazy.. so they are also basically saying that a person can carry on a romantic (but none sexual) relationship with an unbeliever and still go out in service and participate in meetings?
D of C, where in the publications does it say a person could be disfellowshipped for "continuing a relationship with an unbeliever." I can't find that, and I could use it in a conversation with a relative.

That's not a change. Except no marking talk.

The sources you cited do not prove your assertion.

You wrote: "According to JW, Jesus became the Anointed only from his baptism."
You leave this undefined. Why? If you're contrasting Witness doctrine with the Bible, define the doctrine. Also, answer the question: Why would the eternal God need an anointing?
Okay, buster, I was broadly critical of your writing without pointing to specifics. Now I've done so. I can add to my criticisms but I do not see the point. Those I've noted above differ little in character from the rest.

You wrote: "Their teachings deny every essential point of Christianity, so it is enough to mention the most important heresies."
Do you see yourself as a scholar or a polemicist? No ethical scholar would define Witness doctrine as a heresy. A polemicist would. If you're reaching for a scholarly presentation, then write something like: "Witness doctrine differs substantially from main-stream Christianity." Opinions creep in? Scholarship flees.

Your wrote: "Russell was a childless, divorced clothing manufacturer and merchant, originally a Presbyterian, then a member of an Adventist group expecting the end times ..."
Of which Adventist group was Russell a member? Got any primary source reference for that. It is not a sustainable claim.

Vienne isn't a "he." I'm a "newly minted" MA (history) and a certificated teacher. And not at all a he.

Way too long for this type of forum. The refutations are poor. Rewrite this. Edit it down to 170 words or less. Or divide it into parts. Dear LORD man, assuming you identify as a man, didn't your professors teach you how to write an essay? Maybe, since you essentially cut and paste, you were not exposed to a university setting.
