This is an excellent analysis of Evan's video. Stop supporting him, guys. If you continue, you are supporting someone who is the face of the x-Witness community but who totally fits the watchtower picture of apostates. Is the Watchtower right in questioning the mental health of 'Apostates'?
The question is, do you, as an x-Witness, wish to blindly fit into that picture? Apparently the 100,000 subscribers to his videos do.

I do not understand why people continue to support him. He attacked watchtower ethics, often over minor things, but he has no ethics let alone morals of his own. Last I look he still had over 100K subscribers. Are x-witnesses that insane? surely not.

Very upsetting. But haven't these rumors been around for a while? Didn't he confess to some things in his [poorly written, mind-numbingly boring] book? Why anyone expected his behavior to change is a puzzle to me. And I do not understand why anyone supports him financially.

Believing something common among ultra conservative Christians does not seem to be a huge scandal. There's a Watchtower illustration from the 1950s of the serpent as a sort of lizard. Don't ask me which issue. I didn't note it. Not what I'm working on.
i had an aunt that had rheumatic fever as a child and only had an iq the high 70's.
but, absolutely no one was able to bs her on an emotional level.
she had an uncanny ability to see through people's bs.
I'm a Mensa member and have an IQ past 150. I also struggle with higher math. I can balance my checkbook. Which is good, I suppose. I hated Trig and Chemistry. Being intelligent as measured by an IQ does not prevent you from saying or doing or believing stupid things. Best I can tell, being a Mensa member means you probably understand 'insider' jokes faster than someone else.
One of my mom's 'educational psychology' texts defines intelligence as the ability to make closer and closer connections; to associate ideas in more complex ways faster than others. I accept that. But if your best friend takes a week to grasp what you understood instantly, the difference between you is minimal, isn't it?

Very interesting. I respect you immensely. But without documentary proof, isn't this all speculative. A bit like fan fiction in reverse? Why are files from the 1920s damaging to Simon and this board?
