sad-ly, not all who accept jehovah’s standards of conductand dedicate themselves to god loyally stick withtheir decision.

some eventually have a change ofheart and willfully rebel against those standards.what is to be done about such ones?

heart and willfully rebel against those standards.
What is to be done about such ones? We may find
one indication in Ezekiel’s vision of the spiritual
temple discussed at the outset of this chapter. Re-
member those lofty gates. Within each entryway,
there were guard chambers. Guards would protect
the temple, evidently to prevent those who were “un-
circumcised in heart” from entering. (Ezek. 44:9)
That is a clear reminder that pure worship is a priv-
ilege accorded only to those who endeavor to live by
Jehovah’s pure standards of conduct. In a similar
way, the privilege of associating with fellow Chris-
tians in worship is not open to everyone today

The point that stuck with me is where Losch says "are we arrogant to say we are the only ones with the truth? Not at all!"
Contrast that to what Jackson says to Royal commission "it would be presumptuous to say that we were the only ones"

I feel the way many of you do. Something about this seems different.

Then I got to thinking, look at the mag covers and cover topics in the last few years and compare them with those from say the 80s. ALREADY much has changed it seems to me.

At least in my local cong. it feels like a mellower vibe. The constant referrals to the imminent end of this system is made by the brothers locally in talks etc and not so much by the publications.

Oral (and anal for that matter) sex between a husband and wife is purely their business now when at one time you could get the big DF. (was in the WT study a couple weeks ago)

So yes, I think changes are coming as they've BEEN coming for some time.

It would be interesting to use the sentence "The GB can make mistakes when explaining the Bible"

when defending a point of view differing from the org.

so back in the olden days, (the 1980s) it was really frowned apon for a man and woman who are unmarried to be alone together without a chaperon.

where i came from they probably carried it to the exreme but that's the way i understood it was supposed to be throughout the org.. i have been out for years, but my wife continues to be a faithful dublitron.. anyway, she cleans houses, and one of her clients is a recently widowed brother.

i have come to find out that many times he is there when she cleans his house.

All of you that say I feel that way because of brainwashing may be right.

I think also that because there has been an incidince of infidelity in my extended family recently that it may be top of mind.
