  Cart work faces headwinds.

  my little bethel bird has whispered in my ear some encouraging news.

  it has been reported to the canadian branch that some witnesses doing cart work had police stop them from carting in public parks.

  the direction sent to the southern ontario congregations is to cease carting until further notice.. this is no joke.. have a jw-free day..

  If and when the Wtbts pulls back on cart witnessing I have this hunch it’s going to be a hard time for those Jws that have gotten accustomed to those easy hours.

  Let’s see how easy they roll back into the actual door to door ministry. Hard to go back to hard work after being in the office racking it in.

  JWs on campus

  it's my first time on this site though i am no stranger in the ex-jw community.

  i come to you now asking for your assistance in what to present to the dean of students at my university.. why am i meeting with dean of students, you may ask?

  because today, while innocently finishing an assignment in the school library, i happened to look out the window and see the jws with their stupid little cart.

  Ask some fellow students to come to the booth with you. The more the better.

  Ask the Jws if their leaders teach the Jw members not to pursue a higher education or to attend college.

  Bring a iPad and play this video to the Jws asking them if this man, Anthony Morris III and let it play infromt of them all.

  Then be sure to encourage the students to share what they have learned and to share the video of their leader to all their friends so that they are aware of what this group teaches, that being to drop out of college. Here’s the link.

  i hope i’m not imagining this but jace not been able to find the source.

  even looked deeply into jwfacts site and still can’t find it.

  basically the way i remember it was there was a article trying to explain away the “teeth and claws” from a tiger that alluded to it being a meat eater from the beginning.

The Jws might wonder “why does a tiger have those long teeth and claws if they didn’t eat meat. The Wtbts response was (unless I’m going crazy ha) that the teeth and claws of the tiger are perfect for removing the husk off of coconuts.

  Anyone remeber this or know where or how to find the source, if it exist?

  A Little Direction Please

  i'm an active elder, cobe, just got home from the meeting where i handled the treasures part and concluded by announcing a friend of mine has been d/f,.....blah blah blah...and over the last year have woken up.

  i simply cannot spill my guts to my wife and children as it would be family suicide.

  i have zero desire to bash, spread my feelings, or become an "apostate".

  Teach critical thinking skills using other topics such as buying a house, a car and any other "important decisions" in life.

  Maybe then watch some of the Leah Remini show from last season and this one also. If you do this with her and they say something that parallels the WTBTS method of controlling members watch her body language to see if she responds to anything. Had a relative about 10 years old say "Wow,.. the Sea Org is like Bethel"

  Its a very slow process as you have to make sure you don't set off a trip wire driving them back in deeper. Know when to back off and arguing isn't the way to get a person out of a cult,.. aka High Control Group. Use the Socratic method by asking questions that she will have to answer, if not out loud, to her self.

  Welcome,.. embrace the word Apostate as its not what you think it is as the WTBTS wanted us to understand it. Its meaning is "changing ones belief" or something like that. Jesus would have been an apostate to the Jewish system.

  I tried to argue with my wife initially and could see I was doing more damage than good so spent the money and had a telephone interview with Steven Hassan to figure out the correct way to help a person out. Money well spent as my family of 4 are out now.
