ever had an out-of-body experience?
by poppers inonce in a while, usually in the morning shortly after waking up, i find my "body" lifting up from my physical body, but i remain attached at the head.
it's a very pleasant experience but i wish i could totally separate from the physical body so i could go exploring.
this happened this morning again.. .

Security cameras inside & outside the Kingdom Hall ?
by gingerbread ini recently heard from a family member who is still active about the new security system in her kh.. during the installation of the digital projector on the auditorium's ceiling, she said that the brothers who came to install it (i'm assuming some from the regional bldg group) also installed security cameras.. she specifically mentions a computer screen at the sound box that shows live feeds of - the parking lot, the carport/drop-off, interior view of the entrance, the lobby and magazine counter & the 'little room' ( the 'elders room' with conference table, computer and printers, filing cabinets, library, etc).. has anyone seen or heard of these being installed in a local hall ?.

by VM44 ini just noticed that the august 2012 "our kingdom ministry" has at the bottom of the last page a two dimensional bar code!.
when did that start?.
is the watchtower putting bar codes on its other publications as well?.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but that is not how I'm saying it would work.
A simplified example just to explain it would be to create and print a separate QR code for each circuit. They all point to the same URL, just are graphically different in looks, okay.
So the WTBTS makes a copy of each different QR code and the circuit that it went to and puts that info in a master file.
Then at some later time one of their cronies that surfs the ex jw sites sees a qr code on a scanned KM or whatever the magazine, they save that pic of the qr code that was on the ex jw site and compare it to the qr codes in the master file to see what circuit the leaker was assigned.
I know it is a stretch that they would even do this, but just wanted to clarify what I meant when I made the post. Nothing to do with the actual gathering of info from the device accessing the site using the qr code.

I remember hearing a few years ago that the elders were looking at installing cameras outside pointing toward door and buzzer all to be operated at music desk.
They wanted to be able to have someone push a button from outside where and have a light blink at sound desk so he could see thpeppers on and buzz them into the building. As far as going outside once in, they wanted to have a Ms or elder be at the exit door to make sure no one could come in after someone had just exited.
He said that they have had some threats locally and wanted to secure the building.
Never did install it that I know of.

I'm not saying that I have info that the WTBTS IS doing this, just trying to share an idea, that I think has merit.
The point I was trying to make was that, IF, IF the WTBTS wanted to try to find out who was leaking info onto these sites, it would not be too much of a
stretch to use these QR codes to do so. Now you may be asking" Who cares if the WTBTS finds who is leaking a KM as it is pretty much not under wraps" True, but the person that scans the KM to share could also be scanning BOE letters and other insider info.
Now I do believe that they would be interested in finding that person, don't you?
So, if that WERE the case, they could segment the USA into groups, possibly circuits and send a different QR code (that all lead to the same JW.org site)
Then once that scan was up on a site like this, they would know what Circuit the info had originated from. Then they could segment that further down to congregations.
It was said: "If they wanted to track them they'd have to print a unique code for HUNDREDS of batches. They're not going to stop the presses, make new plates, just for that."
I could assure you that the WTBTS wants to know who leaks sensitive information. Would you not agree?
What would be stopping them from doing this? Certainly not the cost of labor.
Sometimes it is better to think 100 different things and find out only 1 has merit than to not think at all.

I'm not a techy,. But think this would be possible.
They can have many different barcode that lead Sam the same URL. If someone were to scan one of these qr codes and then put a Asian on this site, they might be able to find what congregation or circuit that the scan originated from.
it would be a way for the WTBTS to track down who was scanning its literature and posting.
Just ddon't include the we code canyon are scanning for public view. Of course this is all just speculation,

JW Mission = Find all checker floors in WT publications

Was it Freud that said "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".
Sometimes a checkered floor is just a checkered floor. Sometimes humans just like to have some variation in their lives with alternating colors on their floors.
If there was a conspiracy theory, what would it actually mean? Would it mean that the artist working for the WTBTS is somehow showing others that's rein the know that "wink wink we are sending out a hidden message to the others out there "in the know", we still are "involved" with the Masons.
Please explain what the actual function of putting these pics in the art perform.
What is the benefit to the WTBTS for putting artwork of a checkered floor into print?

My name is NJY, and I'm addicted to all things false history of theWTBTS,.. Hi NJY.
I also am feeling that I'm taking it a bit too far with my time researching the reasons that the WTBtS is false. I wake up thinking, shower thinking about it, drive thinking about it also working out mental arguments as to How I can explain this in the most efficient, easy to understaneasy to family.
I'm at the pint now where I think it is being detrimental to my own recovery.
If I keep this up, then I feel I will never be able to break free as ultimately I won't to be able to have a day, week, month go by without thinking " I was Ina cult for 45 years"
