This is all covered in the book "Captives of a Concept" available on pdf.

I would make copies of the info regarding travel restrictions, danger etc and put the local body, WTBTS on notice with registered letters ( so they have to sign for them) stating that
they are endangering one of your family members and that if and when anything happens to them there will be consequences.
Could not hurt, am not sure if you are still under the radar.

What was the best thing the WT did [for you]?
by fadinfast in.
for me it was putting in the fm at the assemblies, now i could listen to interesting things like the cricket, footy, fishing, news, even music [if i kept the volume down] without looking suspicious, instead of all that..... sure you know the story.

They changed the meaning of the word "Generation" in 2010,..
This gave me the foothold to dig in and do some research that has now "saved" my 2 chidlren, wife and myself from this destructive, high control group.

WT study article for April 30-6 "Help People to Awake from Sleep"
by thecrushed ini found this article to be quite ironic!
here is the pdf for the lesson http://download.jw.org/files/media_magazines/w_e_20120315.pdf.
i had to endure this at the kh today and wondered if everyone would like to have fun picking the mind control and other nonsense out of this lesson.

You wrote " I noticed this on paragraph 13: "Prayer interests people of nearly all cultures, even some atheists." Really!? why would an Atheist wonder about prayer?"
A: I would be wondering how someone could really think that it works, I guess it does work, it works on the mind of the ones praying and the ones hearing the prayer. It makes them feel inferior as a human and that they are imperfect creatures needing redemption from a sinful life. But as far as a omnipotent being hearing and filing your prayer away, naahhh!
I think that it is just a way to control people from afar 24/7

Finished Mystery (1917)... The book that Jesus approved...
by Alfred inso a few months ago, a friend sent me an actual copy of finished mystery which was published in 1917 (not a pdf download... the actual book).
i must say, this was the most disturbing book i have ever had the displeasure of reading.
but i only read it because this was the main publication that was being distributed worldwide when jesus supposedly chose the watchtower in 1918 and i basically wanted to see for myself what jesus saw in the wt that would compel him to choose this religious corporation over all other religious denominations.. anyway, if anyone is interested in knowing the actual contents of this book, here are some bullet points i put together from some of the notes i took as i read the book:.

Did you say "He'd make a good clown!" as in future tense?
I think he might be a good clown now. lol

Stupid Qoutes From Traveling Overseers! COs, DOs At Work!.
by Bubblegum Apotheosis inwhen your circuit or district overseer spoke the above statement "turn around and behold your loyal brothers and sisters, they are your real family!
some of the most outgoing elders in the kingdom halls are still lonely, sisters who put the needs of others are burned out and depressed.
so how come they don't feel the way circuit o does?

He said,.
I think my biggest "wtf" moment was when a CO said that the "signs in the heavens" are mainly military satellites. he than clarified that this may also include military planes, missles, etc...
(but he didn't say "could be" or "might be"... he said that they are military satellites... mainly)
_________ I would be like, "You've been reading "Crisis of Conscience" by Ray Franz haven't you, come on now, you can admit it."
