  Cheese!

  any cheese lovers out there?

  i just love virtually any kind, from creamy and soft to brittle and sharp, from cottage cheese to the 'moldy' cheeses like gorgonzola.

  i like to try new things, so any suggestions for cheese varieties you have tried?

  Was Jesus fully Human? How babies were made in those days.

  i feel confident that most visitors to this site, understand the essential conflict at the heart of christianity.

  how could jesus be fully human and simultaneously be a divine being who descended (supposedly, some thing jesus specifically claimed to be) from heaven.. as jws we may have solved this tricky point by saying that yahweh transferred the life of jesus into mary's womb, and so jesus was born fully human.. but if we remove the blindfold of faith, we immediately 'see' the problem.

  in our contemporary view of the reproductive process, we can be certain that there is a female 'egg,' that is fertilised by male sperm.

  It's the human Y chromosome that produces sin. That way it all somehow works. It's the snips and snails and puppy dog tails bits that are nasty. Jesus got unsullied Y chromosomes from god.

  i have not seen jehovah’s witnesses in my neighborhood for several years now.

  it appears that the cart witnessing has taken over.

  congregations are being consolidated and witnesses are being forced to travel a greater distance than before.the burdens/privileges of elders seem to be ever increasing!.

  Cart work faces headwinds.

  my little bethel bird has whispered in my ear some encouraging news.

  it has been reported to the canadian branch that some witnesses doing cart work had police stop them from carting in public parks.

  the direction sent to the southern ontario congregations is to cease carting until further notice.. this is no joke.. have a jw-free day..

  Maybe they will finally take the suggestion I gave them 40 years ago. I said they would be a lot more effective if they were in the world helping in the community rather than annoying it. Jesus raised people from the dead and fed them. He had value before he opened his mouth to preach. What do JWs do for anyone?

  Contradictions!

  quite regularly at meetings jws mocked worldly people and apostates(anyone who had left the "truth") for saying the bible contradicts itself when it is in complete harmony from beginning to end apparently.

  can anyone point out some of the contradictions they know of?

  they used to laugh at the fact people on the doors would say the bible contradicts itself and when they asked the householder to show them where, they couldn't..

  Paul’s ministry almost seems like an insult to Jesus teachings if we are simply reading the Bible for the storyline, leaving our feelings about the veracity of the entirety of it. It seems like Paul was anti christ. Talked him up while going against his teachings. Two faced. Then he changed it to be a Roman religion. I think he was a very conflicted man and I question his intentions from the get go. But that’s just me.

  Resolute, the srticle was a discussion of Netanyahu’s claim that the holocaust was suggested by the mufti. It was already well under way before the two met. Since the early 1900s tensions were building in Palestine as a result of Zionism and the mandate. The mufti was not pro Jew but he wasn’t instigating anything. This is according to most Jewish Israeli historian scholars, many of whom were offended by netanyahu’s statement because there is a contemporary historical record that disputes his rewrite.

  Am I being unreasonable with my pimo boyfriend?

  i was very lucky to have be dating somebody who didn’t run and snitch on me when i started having questions and showing him research i did, instead he listened to me, and after a few arguements, he did wake up as well.

  it really didn’t take much to wake him up, and he was more just tired of the crazy witnesses in general.

  and now we are planning on getting married and fading together so that our families can at least enjoy our wedding, that special time in life, before we possibly loose them one day.

  Is he engaged in your life together and all the stuff that doesn’t involve your pissy feelings to the organization? Is he interested in planning your family, budgeting to set up house, working for a secure financial future? Do you have fun together? Are you building something together? He is not invested at all in the organization clearly. Is he invested in you?

  oh where to begin i am a born in witness witness mother and father and grandparents though only 2 of the 4. i was born in the early 80’s and immediately my parents faced the blood transfusion issue course in their minds at the time it wasn’t an issue it was not gonna happen.

  i don’t wanna go into too much detail but fortunately it worked out well as is evidenced by my writing of this back story.

  i had the usual spiritual goals that most witness children have i got baptized at 13 then i started running mics and doing sound and giving more talks.
