2015 after catching ~2 billion: We foresee for the coming year..... shortages... at this time.
Lawyer weasel words and lies.
the lucrative events otherwise known as assemblies and conventions are cancelled, which i'm sure has hit the wts in the pocketbook a little.
so the newest article on jwdotorg reminds us all yet again of the online recurring donation feature that takes credit and debit cards.. https://www.jw.org/en/news/jw/region/global/making-electronic-donations-in-view-of-covid-19-precautions/.

Lawyer weasel words and lies.
this has been a horrible month.
my best friend’s wife just called to tell me that my friend had to be hospitalized due to severe coronavirus complications.
he has severe pneumonia, is put on a ventilator and is in a coma .
oh how horrible. Sorry Min.
currently there are 3 types -.
awake 3 issues a year / 93,354,000 printed per issue.
watchtower 3 issues a year/ 93,281,000 printed per issue.
WTH? There are a piddly, and I mean like 50 copies available to pick up your one or two copies at the back of the hall. It is now buffet style for the mags. You are shamed if you take too many and questioned why you are not trying to start discussions more than just placing literature. There is absolutely no way they are printing that much. Last time I visited their nasty printing the press was off. This is 2020 figures? Again, WTH? People go to the door with pride only bringing their phone, including old C.O.s. BTW, I'm in the midwest.
Are they thinking they can lie about it because the placements include sending someone a link, and every invite and tract?
I'm amazed. Going to go look now.
i had a patient admitted from a skilled nursing facility/rehab that is an active jw.
the patient had covid-19 as did most of the patients at that facility.
typically the local elders are all involved in these admissions but there is a strict no visitor policy which includes clergy.
I knew someone who worked for the um... lets say state department. That person was routinely shepherded for information as per an elder who did it (senile and spilled beans), and also to make sure they weren't shooting anyone or even carrying a gun.
I can't believe RNs aren't constantly talked up by the elders to get info, especially when you think about that old article in the 80s that said spill confidential info which had an abortion illustration, and with this virus anti-body treatment. I showed a paragraph from that article to my doctor when I told him I don't want to be a JW anymore. My doctor assured me he would not put anything in my record (which are now all computerized and hackable in theory, or simply available to a lot of people) about it as he believed a JW seeing some dirt would indeed do what that paragraph told them to do. He has friends whose parents grew up in it.
People are reporting, as seen above, that elders are checking weekly (true in my home) on everyone's health (really looking to see if anyone is in the hospital). Also, they want every elder put on the blood card, and dumb stuff like that. I don't think they'll go soft on this. I think if they find out someone took blood and it was illegal for elders to know, they would hound the person trying to get them to confess. If the person was strong and didn't confess, they would find something else to DF/DA them for, and put a note in their secret file about the transfusion, maybe cryptically. Then they would pass the word among the elders so they knew what they were dealing with for reinstatement.
I mean I'm not saying you can't get away with it, but they are making it hard. I think the trick is not telling anyone you are a JW! I told my doc, because it had interfered with treatments he wanted to do on me.
i have a trove of old watchtower literature.
i know of course, and for example, to keep the three first volumes of the watchtower (bound) and a bunch of other items.
(and i handle them delicately.).
MCL,
Know your audience.
LMS,
There are activists that would pay for old bound volumes. PM me. I might even buy them. I'm no activist, but I'd pass them on. Maybe you said you didn't want to ship them? If so, disregard. I just hate to see all that proof of their lies go up in smoke.
and i would like as many as possible to view it and comment on it as possible because i cant believe they are still pulling this shit and the rank & file are still lapping it up .?
in this year of 2020.. i`m sorry i do not have the nouse to make a link or attachment or whatever and hope someone can do so .. i know, i had doubts about looking at it also , its on jw.org ,whats new or something phillipines memorial and an experience was given their about a young pioneer girl that had eyesight problems and how she got her doctor and hundreds more to go on line to watch the special talk .
and they even went on to say they had 30,000 non jw`s log on to the special talk.?
After the program, one of the doctors admitted that he previously “hated Jehovah’s Witnesses” and opposed our ministry. But having heard the special talk, he expressed: “I would like to apologize because I shouted at one of your sisters and humiliated her. Thank you so much for the privilege of listening to your talk. Please continue your preaching work.”
As they say: Puh leez B!tch. Doctor thinking to himself: "I hate JWs, they are a cult, but this girl is brainwashed by them, so I'll watch their 'special' talk". Doctor watches that lame @ss talk and says "Wow! I changed my mind!, Their grrreat!"
Sorry for the swears.
When I was a kid I would read or hear these lies and think "Huh, I've never seen anything like this, but I've heard impressive things at assemblies. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or maybe I need to move to a 3rd world country to preach." Cog Dis and guilt at work. I didn't personally know the experiences at the assemblies at the time. Once I did, they didn't match the actual experience, then I had the part on the assembly that didn't match, then they mistreated me in a highly hypocritical way (they mistreat everyone)...now I'm here! 🥴
there is an allegation floating around saying he assaulted one of his female staffers .
most mainstream media do not report on this claim.
they either don’t believe it or don’t want to believe it.. funny how if it were brett kavanaugh or donald trump, they would be all over it.
Elizabeth probably feels safe around Joe. She just has to keep her younger family members away from him. Plus, I hear he's losing it.
so, i want to share the entertainment i've enjoyed from lawful masses with leonard french, copyright attorney.
he has made 4 videos on jw apostate's motion to quash(?
) the dmca subpoena from wt.
Glad someone liked it! I haven't seen JWA's videos, and now they are gone, so I don't have an opinion if they violated copyright. It sounds like some did, but some didn't.
BTW, Jonas of Goatlike Personality channel embedded in the video below my favorite JWBrainwashing video that was taken down. Warning for those easily offended: It's atheistic. I'm so glad it's back; it's nice to watch when in a bad mood. Jonas, if you read this, please embed more!!! If you want. I know it's a lot of work. It starts at 9:20:

The canned compliments to the JWs "innovative" use of technology give it totally away. Who else would use on-line services for church??? You guys are amayyyyzing! (They could have put up ONE, just ONE meeting to YouTube when this started, but they'd rather scramble and not have a meeting than do that!)
Years ago my husband tried to talk to a doctor about blood in the bible. The doc pulled out his phone to look up the scripture. For years afterward we were still getting parts with "Wow, you have the bible on your phone?". Yeah, everyone's a luddite except JWs now.
It is a bragging piece about their virtual meetings and a guilting piece to preach even if you have no legs, sight, or hearing. So feel bad, very bad if you are not writing letters all day or texting everyone in your phone.
How the heck can anyone get 30,000 people in one meeting? Zoom taps out at 1000 from what I know, but I'm not even at beginner level when it comes to Zoom or other on-line meetings. So, what do I know. Also, when I try to join a zoom meeting and it is at it's limit, I just wait for the replay (that's how my normal-non jw clan does it). How in the world would someone not be let in, then another person relay and add those people back in? Would they get an email? What? It is such a lie. Reminds me of the moniker bethelliesalot, good one.
BTW, the Philippines is full of cults. I can imagine people leaving theirs to join JWs and visa versa.

Saw your video NE on "members of the congregation" being changed to individuals or something. Thanks. It must be a legal move, as usual. Snakesssssss.
