New baby on the way... and transfusions

it's been a while since i posted life updates.

this time we are having a baby boy come along in a few months.

off course nothing is ever easy, my wife is extremely anemic to the extent we are being referred to a hematologist for iron and/or packed red blood cells and potential full blood transfusions.

Congratulations on the new baby!

We have one in NICU now and if it weren't for the many blood transfusions she received, she would have died so trust those doctors when it comes to moms and eventually your babies health.

Sorry the pregnancy has to be a hard one. We all imagine it to be perfect but there are so many things that can creep up to make it interesting. We've learned through our experience that researching a good hospital is essential to a successful pregnancy. Also if you don't like a particular doctor or nurse, say something. It's ok and they understand.

DId you ever fall asleep at the meetings, Assemblys??

if i'm tierd i fall asleep anywere so the meetings ect were no diffrent my wife would always try to wake me but im a deep sleeper.

LOL the question should be "Did you ever Stay Awake at the meetings or assemblies?"

I had such a hard time especially at assemblies because they were so dreadfully boring. Same crap said slightly different to make you think it's new.

i do look at the video posts on here with their latest bullshit but being entertained by these clowns longer than necessary is unproductive..

Was on there quite a bit after I found out the real truth doing apostate research. Although I stopped when I found out they are tampering (sanitizing) with what they have on the website.

more and more i see references to jw.org or bible text with the name jehovah into the status info of social media accounts of family members.. do they identify so much with the organization that they make an ass of themself?.

It's the same with those damned buttons. So many dubs I know wear those stupid buttons to work, while shopping, taking the dog out for a poo. I just don't get it? Do they not see it as idolatry?

Having that crap on social media is even worse. It makes them look like complete morons. I can't understand how they can be so proud to be a part of such a crazy, false religion?

Thinking mid 20k. New ones coming in are too dumb to understand why they are not supposed to partake so they do anyways. Also with some apostates going to the memorial to partake the number may jump quite a bit from last year.

Sorry to hear about all your troubles this year R&R. Sometimes when it rains, it pours and It can make it tough to get through the daily grind. My 2015 was bad but nowhere near what you've been through. I'm very sorry for that.

2017 started rocky but has been looking up. The wife and I got preg in January with twins and although we lost one, the other is doing well. She is one month old as of yesterday and is gestationaly, 31 weeks old.

so as i sit here listening to the sunday morning bs session the elder on the stage yapped about religion and that there can only be one religion leading to god.

he used the illustration of a bicycle wheel.

it has many spokes and they all lead to the center.

That illustration works better for showing that all religions lead to God, not the other way around. Even the elders are getting dumber.

Which Bible Translation

i have seen a few comments about the nwt being an altered version of the bible and i must admit that when they released the new one it did not sit right with me.. i want to read the bible but not the nwt.

i also do not want to read one that has the thee and thou and ye etc because that will do my head in.. what translations do you recommend?.

NIV was a nice translation. It's easy to read and understand. Not sure what the motivation behind bible reading is but if you're looking for truth, find another book entirely.

Great video!!👍 I also appreciate the calm approach to the subject. This message really needs to get out there. Most non JW's don't care about doctrine, they care about the effects the cult has on real people and their families. Great job!
