Whats the one thing

jw's are constantly trying to prove they have the truth.

they always point to matthew 24:14 and say "who is accomplishing this work today?

this proves we have the truth and gods backing".. for those of us in this community looking from the other side what is one thing that proves to you that this organization does not have gods backing?

21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.

Mine would be all the failed prophecies. Time and time again they have been proven wrong in their predictions. They use the "light gets brighter" scripture out of context to explain their mistakes but by doing so they make their God a liar.

yet, their lives overlapped by 150 years.

yep, they were of the same generation!

Think about this: Adam was supposed to be born about 6000 years ago and Jesus is "the last Adam" so that's at least a 6000 year generation.😊

LOL James. I actually made up the word "gore metal." I didn't realize there was actually an album named Gore metal and I've never heard of Exhumed before.

Point is that the "paradise" would be a nightmare without individual taste. This music reeks but I love it. It makes my heart sing. I doubt Joke Ovah would allow it in his pseudo paradise.

Lame and werid sample presentations at the meeting

they used to let bro's and sis's do the sample presentation and give them the leeway to put it in their own words thereby making it more natural.

not so anymore!

these days the sample presentations are beamed from mother website.. they seem to have been written by someone who has no experience of how people talk in real life.

That's right blondie. What's sad is that their "Paradise Earth" teaching has no real foundation in scripture and it is so foreign to people that it's a real hard sell.

Lets read that same old crust Psalm 37:29 which upon research has nothing to do with earth but has everything to do with the land of Israel. Most people aren't dumb enough to believe that this is some promise that one day the earth will be a paradise. It's just a word of hope for a man that someday things will get better for his people, Israel.

This reminds me of a situation that happened over a year ago with a pioneer sister at my congregation.

She was studying/indoctrinating a lady in the second school with the doors closed when the wife and I came into the hall at break time during Saturday service. We decided to hang out at the hall to see if someone was going out in the afternoon.

This pioneer sister suddenly ran out of the second school to go to her car, grabbed her head covering and then apologized because she didn't have it with her while indoctrinating a person in the Kingdom Hall in another friggin room where we couldn't hear anyways.

Totally crazy!!! Like I even cared in the first place!!!
