And what Finkelstein said of capable men to take the lead? Absolutely it’s a big problem. The ding dongs who came over even admitted that they are desperate for men to take the lead.

Before I left there was a severe lack of talent amongst the people and all the ones who were good had issues so they couldn’t serve, (Drugs, depression, chronic masterbation) all keeping them from qualifying. Then there was the lazy who didn’t want all the extra work. (Honestly looking back now I don’t blame them.) I envied them for being able to just sit back and take in cult teachings.

See we had some elders come to our home recently to see the baby and they even admitted that many properties were being sold and congregations were being mixed up to save money and better use their kingdumb funds. The witnesses know what’s going on but I just don’t think it’s sinking in yet that the org is running out of money.

Thinking about it now that congregation may have been dissolved due to a lack of elders. Before I left there were 7 elders.

I left, two were too old and not allowed to give parts anymore. One just moved to Italy and another to Florida. So there was really only two capable elders left and the one wasn’t in the best of health.

Not sure how many ministerial servants they had but many were dropping out when I left a few years ago.

Maybe lack of elders made them a target?

I wonder what it will take before these people see that things aren’t going well for them? I can’t believe in this day and age that anyone with half a brain can support this organization and think everything is going well.

My wife recently ran into a woman who was studying when we left. She was recently baptized and asked if she was still a witness. My wife said “Heck no!!”

Id love to know what this woman thought of that? Last we saw her I was still conducting the Watchtower.

My MIL came by to drop some pressure on my wife to go to the three day this weekend. She told her that she wants our baby to live forever and that she wants us to come back. Apparently people would be “so happy” to see us return to the fold. I call BS on that. I know for the things we have done we will instantly get df’ed. Such a bunch of crap.

Either way during their conversation she mentioned that West hall where we used to attend was dissolved and that members were disbursed to three different congregations. What’s interesting is that West was the original Hall in the area and other congregations were added as the need was. You’d think that it would remain and others would go but I guess not.

Now I know why people that I have ran into from that hall said that, “amazing and exciting things are happening and that it would be a great time to come back.”

Ha! Never again.

I can’t get over how cheap they have become. Just a few years back you would get a release a day, sometimes even two. There was always at least one book and a few brochures that were of high quality.

Just tried to watch the one with David Splain and WoW was it boring. Such a waste of time. Half the video is spent reading an insane amount of bible text then he boringly tries to explain or “Splain” it then apply to today.

Definitely would be a good one for after a big lunch in a hot convention hall.

Quick hello and recent baby pic.

just wanted to say a quick hello.

this was a pic yesterday on nurses week at henry ford with one of izabella’s primaries.

the first pic was at her nicu graduation.

I appreciate that because we feel like bad parents every time we see our NICU docs. They make us feel like we are not doing enough and we are seriously doing everything they are telling us and then some! And this baby despite all the pain and trouble she had early on is the happiest baby I have ever seen. She gets sooo much love from her Mom and Dad and everyone else for that matter.

She also qualified for a program called “Early On” so she is getting physical therapy once a week and occupational therapy at home twice a month. There is also a teacher who comes by once a month to asses and play with her a bit.

I know one day she will catch up in weight. I mean she was one pound three ounces when she was born and now she’s over nine pounds. That’s friggin amazing in itself.

We have a few baby carriers and do a lot of skin to skin with her. My wife is stay at home and she carries her around while doing things as well as when we go around town. She even uses the carrier to feed on the go! Very convenient since she is feeding every three hours with the exception of night time. She’s been sleeping a solid 10 hours through the night and just started her on a good two hour nap in the afternoon.

Thanks for the good wishes! She was just over 4 pounds at the time we took her home. She was there for 78 days. Actually she went home two full weeks before her “due date”!! Now she is a bit over 9 pounds. The only issue she is having is failure to thrive. She’s a slow gainer even with all the feeds and extra bottles we give her. She’s a very happy baby though. Such a joy to have in our life!
