“Proof Conclusive”????
I”m with Simon, sorry.
This kind of “proof” often is made to make the ex-jw community look gullible.
a pimo elder at bethel has come forward with a special message posted on reddit.. https://www.reddit.com/gallery/v9mgao.
the dated pictures attached are "proof conclusive" that this is for real.
no outside guests are allowed inside bethel at this time.

so my in-laws actually went out to dinner with us today.
normally, since leaving in 2016, they wouldn’t eat with us or talk much to me.
(since i did convince their daughter to leave the cult).
They never said anything with regards to contact information.
Sounds like the consensus is that nobody really knows why they need that information. Perhaps a special campaign?
I don’t keep up with Jw stuff but let’s hope it’s for good intentions.
We made it very clear to them a few years ago that we wanted nothing to do with the JW’s anymore. (They wanted to take our daughter to meetings while our son was in NICU) We made it very clear that, while we appreciate all that they were doing, we didn’t want our daughter exposed to that environment.

Fast forward to about a year ago, some JW family were in town and they were actually nice!
Today we went out with the in-laws and they were very nice and talkative. Stark difference than previous.
Are the JW’s softening a bit or is it just me?
I’m sure my father-in-law knows I do YouTubes making fun of the J-dubs. He told me long ago if I ever talk against the witnesses he would shut us out.
Seems like he did for a while. But not now.
Very strange.
i was a twenty y/old when i converted to the jw religion and was a problem drinker and i was a chain smoker .when i was baptized at a circuit assembly a year later , my conversion and change in lifestyle was given as an example of the effectiveness of incidental witnessing to the audience.. so i can point to the 2 positives becoming a jw .. 1.i gave up smoking.
2.i gave up drinking for a while ,but because i still had association with my wife`s and my family who were not jw`s ,i learnt to control my social drinking when i started again.. and i have been a responsible drinker ever since ,even though i left the religion 29 years ago.. the negative points of being a jw in my 32 years of being one ?
are far too great to list here .. love to hear your thoughts..
I’ve learned how to deal with all kinds of weirdos.
what is your opinion of the wt's impact on children?.
here, children get to connect the dots and see what will happen to you if you are disobedient.
.
During a video recently there was a YouTube’er that mentioned being raised as a witness caused an Armageddon-like feeling within themselves when things go wrong in life. As if God himself is punishing her.
Took her till adulthood to put this pieces together.
Being raised as a witness is tantamount to child abuse.
The born-in child can’t opt-out. They are forced into the cult and forced to rise in the ranks, depending on their parents.
Some even into adulthood are verbally abused by parents if the child decides to leave.
is it difficult to believe in a loving god?.
if yes, i understand you.
it has been difficult to me too.
“ Is it difficult to believe in a loving God?”
Yes. The whole Adam and Eve narrative makes no sense.
If my daughter makes a mistake, I’m not going to punish her future generations of children for it for all eternity.
yes, i am posting again.
i could not for awhile technologically and it is now fixed thanks to simon.
thanks, simon!
Always enjoyed your Watchtower rebuttal posts.
Hope you are well!
a lot of pimos are reporting that returning to the meetings is backfiring in that covid is spreading among the members returning.. post;.
so last saturday was my first meeting back in person and well it completely backfired.
last night i got a text from my group overseer saying that someone in the hall tested positive for covid and that we need to get tested(great 🎉).. honestly i kinda expected this.
My sister has been waiting for this for a long time. She keeps bringing it up and sending memes about going back.
She doesn’t know we stopped going to meetings 6 years ago. 😂😂
look...i've had my beef with lloyd aka cedars and some of the stuff he says or does but equally i respect what he is trying to do and what he has achieved in terms of waking people up.. he intimated he had mental health issues years ago but his video today is brutal...i see pain in his eyes and he is suffering.
his family come first and the man needs to heal.. yes he has issues that many on here see but its not the man that is important but his work.. but the man needs time to heal mentally and i wish he does so.
he deserves that despite the feelings and things that have happened in the past with the exjw community.. he has done so much for the exjw community in general that i hope all give him a little clack and he returns.. if any of us did what he did we may be in the same boat but none of us do...see past the man and see his work but equally the man is suffering and it is pretty sad...i hope he gets better soon.
His videos were instrumental in helping my wife wake up from the cult.
it was when the governing body started to disfellow-ship jehovah`s witnesses from taking blood transfusions in an effort to save their lives .. resulting in many hundreds if not thousands of needless deaths of men women and children who by this coercion died from this doctrine.. and to this day they still go unpunished .
.
My micro preemie daughter required multiple transfusions over the 78 days she was in NICU.
We asked the nurse what would have happened if we denied her those life saving transfusions and she said that the courts would have taken her from us.
Unfortunately by the time the legalities were done, it would have been too late.
JW parents need to realize that THEY ALONE made a dumb decision, not their child. That child deserves life. They can make that choice when they get old enough to understand the risks. (Hopefully they will be smarter than their parents😉)
