Did you feel contempt for Non Witnesses
by Steel inthe other day i went to this farm owned by this jw lady with my wife being a jw and my mother being a non witness.
later taking to my mother she noticed this vibe like this jw lady really hated her.
she just had these little slags like when we tried to pay for the fruit we picked , she looked directly at my wife and said " don't worry about it, i only charge wordly people ".. i also have this aunt who is a jw we are estranged from.

Warning!
by FedUpJW inno...not a warning from me, rather that is the subject of the "local needs" that i heard was presented via zoom tonight.. beware of apps!
they harped on the idea that only apps approved by the governing body should ever be downloaded or used by jdubs.
they said if they had not been featured in the litterature or specifically recommended by the governing body then jdubs should heed the warning and avoid them.. i guess they are, as we all suspected, very afraid of what the dubs will find out now that they have to use only electronic devices for their "food"..

One reviewer of a totally non J.W. android app said it was a scam, full of questionable advertising and definitely not an official app and to not download it. Guess what the very next review said?

Why can it nor be the case that if someone upsets you, just tell them how horrible and unchristian they are, and of course now you have gave them the marvellous opportunity to follow the Watchtowers guidance, show the fruits of the spirit and forgive YOU!
You would soon find out like a lot of JW rules they usually only work one way.

Jesus to rule for 1000 yrs yet he started in 1914?
by krismalone ini believe when we were in the jw cult, our brains and thoughts were hijacked by the governing body.
i truly believe the gb thinks all members are stupid and they laugh at them in their wednesday morning secret meetings.. one such teaching that i never heard anyone bring out or question yet the absurdity and contradiction is blatantly obvious is: revelation chapter 20 says that christ will reign for 1000 years.
it doesn't say he will reign more than a thousand yrs but only 1000 yrs.

So Satan is a really bad guy, but according to the J.W. beliefs he has been ruling the earth for almost 2000 years. (Whole world in his power 1 John 5:19 etc.) Jesus however, a really good guy only gets to rule the earth for half that time, 1000 years, and as posters have pointed out a chunk of that has gone already. Seems kinda crazy.

for example, when puerto rico was devastated by a hurricane, wtc directed a large number of congregations to donate $1500 each in supplies that would be used for relief purposes.
it is not known how many congregations took part in this effort but the feedback suggests it was in the hundreds.

Thanks Barbara, more and more everything seems to be about creating ways to get money from people with this organization. When I was heading out I stopped putting any money in the box, picked a "worldly" charity and gave to them every month. At least you get some indication where the money is going.
