Active JW understands flaws in WTS doctrine but believes in the Bible

perhaps this is a common topic for newbies on the site, but i have browsed for a while and not seen this exactly answered.. as an active jw who understands the flaws in wts doctrine, but believes in the bible, how do i identify a form of worship that meets all the criterea:.

1) by this all will know you are my disciples if you have love among yourselves (john 13:35).

sure i know that not all jws do this, and that people from other religions or non-religious people do this also, but as an official doctrine jws will not kill one another in war, and in general there is a genuine effort to exercise "agape" love not widely found in the world at large.. 2) preach the good news.

Christ is the Way. If you are unsure about what He wants from you, then ask Him to help and to guide you. No one else knows the truth, more than the Truth.

He teaches those who ask Him to.

the mole rat lived underground like the mole, so they do not need eyes at all.

they have small eyes that are covered by skin making them blind.. .

The appendix does indeed have a use. It has to do with storage of beneficial bacteria.

My point in my first post was simply this: The evidence for factual evolution presented in the OP in no way adds support for the full range of details included in the Theory of Evolution. It in no way contradicts the biblical account and it in no way weakens the credibility of scientists who do not accept the full range of details in the Theory of Evolution.

Flamegrilled, I do not think that Christians are called to be pacifists.

We know that nations at times go unjustly to war, and at other times wars are entered for self defense, to protect the governmental authorities or in order to protect the innocent.

"And some soldiers were questioning him, saying, "And what about us, what shall we do?" And he said to them, "Do not take money from anyone by force, or accuse anyone falsely, and be content with your wages," ( Luke 3:14 ).

"Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14 or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right," ( 1 Peter 2:13-14 )

I think that Christians are called to defend the weak and defenseless. If Hitler broke into my house to take my children I would kill him. Why is it different if he or someone like him breaks into the house of my neighbor in another country?

Exodus 22:2 : "If the thief is caught while breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there will be no blood guiltiness on his account."

The Bible also tells us to protect the innocent, Deut. 19:10 , "So innocent blood will not be shed in the midst of your land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance, and blood guiltiness be on you."

( Rom. 13:1-4 )

“Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. We still have not proven that mutations result in an addition to the information in a genome. Mutations can turn switches on or off, they can delete genetic information, they can result in redundancies that are usually detrimental... So what we have so far is further evidence of genetic information that is only sorted, deleted, turned off... but not new.

Talk of ‘evolution’ in relation to blind cave fish that descended from sighted ancestors is not appropriate if by that they mean the sort of change that can turn microbes into motor mechanics. Cave fish have arisen by processes that in fact demonstrate the opposite—deterioration of function, consistent with the ‘natural’ direction of genetic change in a fallen world.

Yes, JWs make a big thing of the earthly paradise, but I think that's just because it's a distinction from what many other religions believe so it tends to come to the fore in discussion. I don't see why location is very important personally.

Actually, JWs beliefs about the paradise are not unique. We first learned this when one of my daughters ballet friends had us to dinner. They believe that when people die now their spirit goes to heaven. Acts 7:59 and that believers who are alive when Christ returns are taken to heaven for a time in order to be protected from Armageddon. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then they are returned to earth, as the Lord is also, and heaven and earth are one. Revelation 21

Salvation comes from being marked as belonging to Christ. How are we marked?

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, Ephesians 1:13

So we need to answer two questions then, what is the gospel of salvation and do Jehovah's Witnesses have that right?
