what is the correct spelling of gods proper name"yahweh or jehovah"?

if the jw's maintain that yahweh is more proper, why do they misspell it "jehovah"?

if the name of god is so important, then you should not only pronounce it correctly, but spell it correctly too.

Mr.logic: I responded to your PM yesterday and apologized and acknowledged that in retrospect, I could have framed my response differently. I accepted full responsibility and in no way implied you were being overly sensitive or that you were unjustified in your opinion of my comments.

I appreciate your input on how I came across to you.
