Just because Science can't currently explain something doesn't mean that's proof of a deity.
Science couldn't explain comets, so mankind made up reasons for why they were there. Today, though, Science CAN explain comets.
do any of you ex-jw's still believe in god?
even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.
the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

Frequently, creationist arguments amount to, "This is complex. Therefore, God exists."
Which God? Why that God?

an auto catalyst is evidence of guidance.
I think an important question to ask is, "How is the existence of an auto catalyst evidence of divine guidance and not just evidence of the existence of an auto catalyst being a part of nature?
One can easily say that about other things. For instance, "Gravity is evidence of guidance." OK, interesting statement, but how is that evidence of guidance, namely divine guidance?
What is the line of evidence that makes one think that the existence of an auto catalyst is evidence for a creator?
definitely something going in the london bethel.. i thought i'd ask them again (and record it again) what the situation was regarding the new britain branch construction work.. i got the same sister (debbie) and here is how the conversation went: .
me: i've been told that construction of the new branch has been stopped - is this true?.
debbie: no, it has not ceased, it's carrying on as normal - can i ask where you're calling from?.
New article on JWSurvey with more leaked details now.
(Can't link to it here.)
i'm just watching this video.
now bare in mind this guy has never been a jehovah's witness so he has no investment in this cult.. https://youtu.be/_ry-onhbkya.
It boggles my mind how some exjws use critical thinking to escape the cult and then refuse to use it when it comes to GMOs.
DJS: you might as well try to wake up a fully active elder than change the minds of the anti-GMO cult.
the warwick gallery #1 and gallery #2 are still up.. i have #3 backed up: http://imgur.com/a/klnlg.
also pulled: .
wallkill photo gallery 2.
my thoughts are.
1. they want to avoid being made to comply with any laws that come with anything classed as a "school" especially a school with children enrolled.. 2. the mid-week meeting has been dying in the ass for years and needs a revival.
i predict happy -clappy-sing-a-longs to be included in the program.. anyone else have any thoughts ??
i just called brooklyn bethel service dept.
they said they had not heard anything about a worldwide shut down of construction.
i asked if he had heard about london bethel shutting down construction.. he said no that it was a surprise to him.
They know it's true but are not allowed to confirm to the peons yet.
This is probably likely. Sometimes at Bethel, they would make certain announcements and say that it was for the Bethel Family only. However, I don't see a "Bethel Boy" outright lying when asked a direct question. Bethel Elders? Yes, they'd lie.

has anyone here gone nuclear on their spouse and, all of a sudden, came out in the open as a jw opposer?.
by this i mean, sitting them down and saying: i no longer want to be a jw anymore, do not want to go to meetings or preaching anymore!
and, what has happened in the relationship after that?.
To answer the OP, I did.
I came home one day after work, while I was still learning TTATT, and told my wife that I had something really important to talk to her about.
You can see that thread here.
And subsequent threads here:
My wife has now completely awoken and we have moved away from where we were and are now faded. We don't go to meetings.
Currently, our families don't know. But I guess that eventually they do, but we're both okay with the eventual consequences.
