fun with the book of jobjob ch 1 vs4 they celebrated birthdays.
] and it was several days long...new international version4 his sons used to hold feasts in their homes on their birthdays, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.orother version...4 his sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on his day, and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.
[how would a jw twist the following scripture that says job offered a sin offering in case the sinned...]5.after a series of banquet days was complete, job would send for them in order to sanctify them.
JW would say:
But you guys!!!! Jehovah doesn't let us be tempted or tried beyond what we can bear! He knew Job could handle it!
been away from the site for a few days...because i have been busy getting these!!!!!!

Island Man: Check out the commentaries on Job 1:5
http://biblehub.com/commentaries/job/1-5.htm
Some agree with you, some allow for a different scenario.
In particular, the Benson Commentary actually comments on the Hebrew:
Job 1:5. When the days of their feasting were gone about — When each of them had had his turn, and there was some considerable interval before their next feasting-time; or, as the Hebrew כי הקופו ימי, chi hikkipu jemee, may be rendered, As the days went about...
Also, consider the rendering in other translation/versions along these lines: "...and when the banquet-days had gone the round Job used to send...." (Byington)
That could indicate that there were multiple days for each banquet. The Revised NWT agrees with this thought on Job 1:5.
After a series of banquet days was complete...
So, it is possible that Job would send and sanctify his sons after each multi-day banquet was completed.
If that was the case, these could still be birthdays. Many commentators agree that the Hebrew term rendered "his day" in Job 1:4 is the same term used in Job 3:1 and must indicate a birthday.
oh, the possibilities!
there is a lot of wasted talent.
I would have tried to be a Physicist.
That's what I really wanted to do and was passionate about. But, Physicist didn't sound like a good way to support yourself while Pioneering.

Here's how deceitful the Revised NWT is on this Job birthday issue:
In Job 1:4, there is no context to indicate that the phrase translated "on his day" really does indicate birthdays. It is the logical conclusion that it refers to birthdays, but there's nothing concrete to point a JW to in the surrounding verses.
Until you come to Job 3:1:
Old NWT: "It was after this that Job opened his mouth and began to call down evil upon his day."
When you read that verse in context with Job 3:2, you see that Job calling down evil upon his day is him calling down evil on his birthday.
So, one could previously read these verses together and prove that the term "on his day" in Job 1:4 refers to birthdays, not just some special day.
However, here is how the Revised NWT renders Job 3:1 now:
"It was after this that Job began to speak and to curse the day of his birth."
So, now, using only the Revised NWT, you can't point to Job 3:1 to show that Job 1:4 was referring to birthdays.
Obviously, a actual student of the Bible would read multiple translations and see that Job 1:4 definitely was referring to birthdays. However, as we know, the Rank & File JW doesn't do that kind of research into their doctrine, and if they did, they're not likely to use any other translation or version of the Bible other than their own Silver Sword.
