Heffe Weise is a variety of beer, not brand exclusive. Personally, I really like Newcastle's and Dos Equis Dark. There are a few good microbrews here that I really enjoy, Bohannon's Vanilla Creme Ale and Market Street Pilsner. Flying Dog brewery of Denver, CO has a few good varieties too.

Evidently, at the present, it's a state determined issue. There are currently no Federal provisions for election delay.

Politics: Just the facts

is there anywhere i can get just the facts about current issues and where both presidential candidates stand on each?.

it seems like everywhere i look there is someone or something trying to sway me one way or the other.

my husband is a head strong republican while others i know are active democrats.

I would also advise to get non-US news. Things are so screwy in our media. They simply are lazy these days. They don't ask the hard questions of their interview-ees. Use your eyes and ears. Look at what's going on and ask do you stand for these things or not. My choice is obvious from my avatar, but regardless of your politics please DO vote and encourage others to do the same. No matter who gets into office, we, as constituents need to use our vote to show how we really feel about issues.

Just got back from the YMCA

i went to the y last night just to relax and go swimming.

the y near my house is pretty clean and after 8 p.m., not very crowded.

i find it very relaxing to go work out, play basketball, go swimming and then sit in the sauna after a long shower.

How did you find your job?

often, i speak to people who seem to have good jobs.

when i ask how they got that job, then they tell me that finally it came down to good contacts.. many jobs i had were also because of good contacts.

naturally, having a college or university degree is what it takes, but having contacts seems to be what opens doors.. so, how did you find your job, with help from an influencial person, or all by yourself?

For me, it was a matter of being in the right place at the right time...also having a friend at this company.

I went to work in the environmental business as a truck driver. At the time, my friend who then worked for this company told me about a potential expansion. I put my application in, nine months later and one hell of a background check later...(still ongoing) ...I had a new job. Our company landed a contract with the Department of Justice and here I am a year and a half later working 3 1/2 days a week and still expecting to make around 60K this year.

CONGRATS!!! I'm a grandfather, at the ripe old age of 33. My grandson is 3 now. It's the best! (I have a 21 yr. old stepdaughter)...You'll have a great time spoilin' your grandkids.

great question as i have always wondered about quite a few of our screen names.

as i was reading the responses, i looked at holey cheeses - king of the juice's avitar and thought about how i have been wondering for the past three years, what the hell that is a picture of.

Pipe Smokers

it's just so nice to sit back and relax in the evening with a good pipe.

I do cigars and pipes...only on the road, though. I don't ever smoke around the house. Wife must know, but she plays like she doesn't. I usually chew tobacco, though. Every time I smoke pipe or cigar, i can't help but tell myself that it's probably bad for me, but i enjoy it sooooo much.

A good Arturo Fuentes or Romeo y Julietta hits the spot. As far as pipe tobacco, i do like captain black. I also like some of Borkum Riff's blends.
