Speak of the devil... on Sunday a bunch of drunks skipped on a dinner bill across the street. Jumped in their car and drove through our fence. Police, fire, and ambulance action complete with tracking dogs.

Stupid drunk drivers......
by Jesus Christ inmy house is at the end of a fairly busy street that dead ends in our front yard and then takes up again a few houses down.
i was trying to set up some email stuff for a client tonight around 10:30 when i heard some police sirens.
i stood up and looked out my window to see a pair of headlights quickly coming towards my house with the police behind them.

What's Wrong With Killing Arabs?!
by TTBoy inbefore you go tearing my head off - this thread is for pc gamers.. i just picked up soldier of fortune ii - double helix.
i am sick and tired of games that let us kill germans, south americans, and japanese.
why can't anyone make a damn game where you kill the modern day terrorists?

What about a "blow away the Jehovah's Witness" game?
Spiritual ammunition! I mean mabey paste them with their own magazines. Rapid-fire briefcase full of Awake! amo clips. The final boss: drop a UN disasociation letter in Brooklyn. Different stages/different countries. Recharge on this site, and then steal donuts and hot coffee before the enemy does!

Fuck-
I remember the Jensens in Vancouver. I think it was Jeff in '79. He DID make it to the wine during the pass-around.
No interception! Its good! full-on drinking action!
He did get a beating after though.

Following the real truth to a better life
by kenpodragon ini was standing at the edge of a meadow , far from any others.
the flowers of spring had opened their peddles to reveal their colors.
the mountains in the distance were still showing their trace of the white winter snow.

WTS SPY...
by happysunshine ini was considering revealing my identity soon, but had a thought.
although i'm not active, i am well respected by my family and the witnesses from my past.
perhaps i could do more good for my family/friends and massive damage to the wt if i was to become active again.

Deeply, thank you all for your responses. I never cease to be amazed how much you all care. Really.
I must admit I am a bit surprised about the comments that do not take a hard line towards the WTS. I may be a bit jadded. I suffered long and hard furthering Kingdom intrests. I gave it everything I had. It didn't work. I remember what I thought about my worldy family when I was Witness. I can only wonder what the next generation will think about me.
In any case, the more I read about the WTS the angrier I get. I feel some kind of obligation to help others see all the information on the WTS. For example, I, and my father, 50 plus years a Witness/missionary/CO/elder/ had no idea that the WTS had outlawed vaccines back in the day. This is but one card in a large house of cards.
On a different topic for Jurs, yes I spent over a year in Japan working. My fiance is Japanese, and my job pulls me there. There are a lot of Witnesses there, I actualy met a district overseer/missionary from the states in Okayama by accident in 1999 and we had a chat. As for an individual making a difference in changing attitudes... well what do the Witnesses say about that re: field service?
A side point, Japan is a strange place for foreigners like me to live. Believe it or not, I will have a lot of pull there as far as the WTS is concerned. Comments?

Any ideas?

Thats hillarious OAC! Tastes pretty homely, eh? I made it for a memorial in Toronto once, and we ate a bunch of the extra stuff. Reminded me of 'Wasa' crackers. This was a little chewy, which helped one of the partakers with no teeth.

I was just wondering about that topic. After leaving I thought "are they mentaly ill, or just arrogant?". Looking back, all the ones I knew were really old and kind of half there, upstairs wise. There were two younger ones (late 30s) I remember, KS in Halifax and LS in Parksville. I heard KS did tons of drugs in the 70s so it might of fucked up his mind. He was a really nice guy, and seemed pretty normal when I met him though. He stopped partaking about 10 years ago. The other guy, LS, was kind of a puffed-up jerk. Once in a while you'd see his eyes kind of glaze over and he'd get this freeky look.

Here is who can sing the blues.
by happysunshine inmany blues songs begin with "woke up this mornin'..." this is to differentiate blues musicians from most other musicians, who sleep past noon.
"i got a good woman" is a bad way to begin the blues, unless you stick something nasty in the next line, like "i got a good woman, with the meanest face in town.
the nice thing about the blues is that once you've written the first line, you're pretty much done with the second line too.
