Hi, all...I'm a faithful JW who is sick of lies about us

i was baptized 30 years ago and have been in the faith for over 35 years.. our organization isn't perfect.

but i'm sick to death of seeing stereotypes about us.

James, I can't agree about the points you make on the JWs. There certainly are educated and rich ones among the JWs, but they are the exception, not the standard by any means. Also, if you stop lieing to yourself for a moment and do an honest read in the JW literature (or hell, even the new testament) you'll find that as God's servants you are supposed to simplify your life, like many JWs do. I'd have sympathy for you if you were a fader and knew the truth about the truth.

Now, I do agree with your lifestyle and unlike others on here, I'll try my best not to criticize you. Yes, you are a hypocrite. Guess what? So am I. I'm not DFed, sometimes I visit meetings, I smoke cigarettes all the time, smoke weed and party with my "wordly" friends on a Saturday night, then go to the Sunday meeting next day. And who gives a f*ck? Because I don't. I'm not playing by the GB's rules. It might be an act of hypocrisy what I do, but I freaking deserve the right to make the best out of my situation. They stole my teen years, it's payback time: I'm actively working on making my jw "friends" lose their faith, "sin", and what not. Who knows, maybe it'll help them get out of the cult?

James, if you think you're a liberal JW I encourage you to influence your JW friends to be like you ;)

@Vidiot, nope.. sorry to disappoint.

I live in a small town now, nothing much to do here, cinema is not an option. So we just gonna eat something and have a conversation. If there is a second date, I'll introduce her to my friends and go play bowling or pool.

What do you guys think?

Lol this thread blew up xD I had a feeling this would turn into a sjw/feminist thread.

Actually what babygirl said, it makes sense and it matches what others say. Society allows woman now to get out of their traditional role and be more like men, in regards to sexuality as well. Had i thought about this before man... i missed so many opportunities to get laid lol.

In any case im going on a date next week with a decent girl, no drinks and pubs involved this time. Wish me luck xD

I think this is the conclusion I reached from this thread. So yea, gonna take the fake it till you make it approach. Thanks everybody for your comments, I appreciate it.

Just realised, even if she broke up with her boyfriend, I'd say no to a relationship with her. Just found out yesterday that she had more of these "adventures" lately... hurts to say it, but 10 out of 10 would agree, she's not the monogamist type; which again is not something to be judged for, although I wish I had had the right attitude (e.g. let's have fun and move on tomorrow), rather than fantasising about being in a relationship with her.

babygirl30 that's a shocker. I'm not autistic nor suffering from aspergers syndrome as far as I'm aware. No offense taken. I have friends and every other aspect of my social life is normal; doesn't have this drama with it.

I just really want somebody who I can love and who loves me; so whenever a girl is nice, i already imagine what would it be if we were together and develop feelings for her. You can imagine these emotions exponentially growing if said girl seems to be having the same feelings for me. Now, in this case, this was just two persons being drunk, out of which me is me, and the girl is just a normal person who can sleep with a man and not get emotionally attached to him.

Or i indeed have aspergers... idk.

Alright, guys, everybody chill out. I don't hate woman and I'm aware that both genders can be equally materialistic, cruel and can screw the other over, jeez.. Most people seem to handle these situations/emotions in a better way, which makes me think if something's wrong with me; after all, I rarely hear stories where guys get emotionally hurt after a one night stand...

Anyway, this incident was my fault, I'm childish and inexperienced. There were some very good comments on here that made me feel a bit better about this whole thing, so thank you.

Also, I emphasise again, I'm not hating on woman in this thread, I don't care how you interpret what I wrote at this point. A few years ago I made another thread , that should explain the title. (god i cringe when i look at that other thread), as for the conclusion And thats why girls are cruel and use us, man, as toys., it wasn't the point of the story nor a conclusion really, it looked good on "paper".
