Paul is talking about qualifications of elders. However notice that he says elders should reprove those who contradict the faith. He is referring to those who have apostate tendecies. Then he talks about those deceivers of the mind who insist on Christians being circumcised. These are the ones subverting households. They are those who, if they do not accept the counsel of loving elders, become apostate.

If you do your research and use other Bibles other than the NWT, you will see that the example of Korah in the book of Jude and in the context that it was written was about speaking out against the angels, not human leaders who the Watchtower likes to elevate as the "glorious ones".$$$
Jude has nothing to do with the point that non was making. If you read Numbers, you will find that Korah spoke abusively of Moses and Aaron. What Bible you reading? The Bill Bowen version?

Are religious community should prove to be a source of spiritual refreshment for families, not a punishing, jungemental, lawyer run, hypocritical force to be dealt with. Cases of immorality in the congregation were no doubt blown out of proportion too. A man in Corinth was allowed to live with and have sex with his father's wife for a period of time. Some christians were also accused of sleeping with their sisters or brothers. These rumors were false, however, and Christianity continued to "rise."
So today. People may persecute jws and make up stories about them or exaggerate shameful acts that do occur in jw camp. But we expect this kinda treatment. We will rise in spite of it.
