Na, this one is far worse:Oh I see. So that makes it a Ok then. I guess that lesson I learned when I was five about two wrongs was a hoax as well.

President Trump has tested positive for COVID-19
by Funky inhttps://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-says-he-and-first-lady-have-tested-positive-for-coronavirus/ar-bb19cg4u?li=bbnb7kz.
given his age and weight, he is at very high risk of needing to be hospitalized.. trump is arguably the most well-protected man on earth, and he got it.. people.....wear a fruggin' mask!.

Making an insensitive comment about McCain a few years ago is reason enough for him and his Wife to contract a potentially deadly disease?(Edited by me to delete part of this comment. Don’t want to compare anything like this to something the JWs said ). -

This is the best news I've had all year. Lets hope he takes his own advice and injects disinfectant into himself.
For a cleaningAbsolutely disgusting comment.

Elders are the ''human resource'' workers of the Watchtower corporation!
by RULES & REGULATIONS inhere is a brother who really thinks that elders are there to help him after admitting that he cheated on his wife.
his conscience is bothering him to the point of letting elders know all the details of his affair.
( his affair should have been private, between himself and his wife ).

Maybe it's all part of a cunning plan. Think about it, it's a good way to end both his marriage and association with the witnesses.
He got some on the side, then putting on the act of feeling guilty, he confesses to his wife hoping that she won't forgive him and end the marriage. 1st down.
Then confess to the elders hoping to get disfellowshipped and be free of the restrictions of the religion. 2nd down.
Now he can go out and be free from all the restrictions of marriage and religion and live the life he really wanted. - Touchdown!!

I see more Trump signs than ever before. Biden, not so much.
Just like 4 years ago. In my travels then, I would literally see at least 10 Trump signs to 1 Hillary sign.
I live in a mostly "blue" state and can honestly say that in this election cycle, I rarely see a Joe Biden sign. I do however see plenty of Trump signs.

Racism will never end. There are just too many people profiting from it.
BLM is now a multi million dollar organization. So called “Diversity” speakers are making a fortune teaching “diversity” to corporations. What about the media? The media absolutely loves to report racism. Not just organizations like CNN, but organizations like Fox News as well. Racism=Ratings, which=profits.
Nope, racism isn’t going anywhere soon.

The Jehovah's Witness religion was started by lying corrupt religoius charlatans
by Mr.Finkelstein inyes those are the undeniable facts regarding this religious organization.. these men took the return of christ as a commercial commodity and sold that to the public through the literature they published.
the doctrines they used (c t russell, j rutherford ) to accomplish this feat wasn't actually their own, they were plagiarized by other turn of the century bible speculators who were selling their own pieces of literature.
the end times, the last days, this generation were all propagated to make the notion that armageddon was coming soon in are life time and this actually started by these charlatans back in the late 1800's.. so there you have it easy to understand and clarified even more as time has progressed.

Oh Please!! ALL religions were started as a way to 1) Make Money, 2) Control the Masses, 3) gain political and social influence, and 4) make even MORE money.
Not ONE religion is exempt from that. Even YOURS. They are ALL full of sh*t and con artists.

Jesus on the stake
by dothemath ini sat in recently with some relatives for the sunday meeting.
the talk was given by a bethel speaker, who at one point quoted john 20:25.
“but he said to them: “unless i see in his hands the print of the nails and stick my finger into the print of the nails and stick my hand into his side, i will never believe it.”.

Oh I'm sorry. I thought this was a discussion board where we get to express our opinions on all tjhings JW.
The intent of my post is that the witnesses are the ones who started this cross vs torture stake debate. It was done mostly to keep themselves separate from christendom. And I was just expressing MY opinion that I think the whole arguement or debate on this subject that the Witnesses started is a complete and utter waste of time. If Jesus dies for our sins, then what difference does it make to anybody if there was a crossbeam or not on the device he was nailed to? The device he died on is totally unimportant. The end result is the same....Jesus died for our sins.
I'm sorry if I didn't play by your rules or neglected to look at what ":catagory" this topic was supposed to be in. I guess using the Hottest or Latest buttons at the top of the page is not the approved way of viewing all the topics on this site.
I guess I have to be careful on what topics I comment on here. Just like being back in the KH. I guess I have to censor myself here too.
I'll ask for your approval next time before I comment. Is that better???????

Did Jesus die on a cross or a torture stake? Who cares!! To quote a former Secretary of State, “What difference does it make”? Such trivial bull$&*t. If a person wants to believe that Jesus died, then who cares if there was a crossbeam or not or if there was one nail or two. Total crap argument that they started. -

Did you ever know a JW who was political?
by wolverines inone black sister would always slam the jews when there was anything on the radio or tv about the palestinian's.
i knew others who had other ideas that were strange and not neutral as we were told to be.
the black sister would dress like she was from africa in a dashiki robe from time to time.

Many became more interested in politics around 2008/2009. Some even registered to vote.
