WT doesn't want any Dubs to take care of themselves physically, quoting time after time the scripture re: "Bodily training v. Godly devotion". That's why so many develop medical problems as time goes on. Physical exercise releases endorphins and is important for all vital organs, etc. They rather for most Dubs only stand at carts and sit down at great deal (sitting is the new smoking) instead of being very physically active at least 4-5 days weekly.

in a couple of videos, they promote a very negative attitude about bettering yourself and taking career opportunities.
for instance, in one video a boy is either getting a college offer or at a job fair, i can't remember exactly, but first he imagines getting better off financially, and then he turns around and imagines losing his money and losing his nice car.
During an hour+ long pre-recorded symposium, representatives from many countries were interviewed, and the whole time the Skype logo was shown onscreen. It makes me wonder if there was some sort of financial incentive.
WT will NEVER provide any financial incentives to their parishioners. The greedy/selfish GB keeps all of the proceeds for themselves. They don't care about anyone's financial situations [probably laughs about the R&F (mainly the PIMIs) submitting donations and their poor status in life].
words can be incredibly powerful when used on people to persuade them to think a certain way.
it becomes considerably worse when people don't even know it's being used on them.
take for example, obama's speeches (just an example, not injecting politics into the discussion).
I agree with all of what you've posted Tenacious. Since you mentioned mainly corporations, it is only fitting to say that NLP does apply to WT, for it is a CORPORATION disguised as a religion. Just like these companies have done and are continuously doing to capture and keep their patrons for business, WT is doing the exact same thing to retain their parishioners (patrons) under their thumb. However, to use the Word of God as the bargaining tool to do the above and causing bad effects to countless of people's lives [i.e., blood ban, CSA, shunning, prohibitions on a number of activities (holidays, birthdays, college education, intimacies within marriages, domestic violence considered unimportant, etc.) is sacrilegious! This organization needs to be stopped, IMPO!
