Grow up as a JW.

maybe a bit silly topic but i was watching some youtube films of the city where i grew up as a jw child.

i saw some youngsters fishing.. i was never allowed to:.

fishing, playing after school with boys from the neighbourhood, sing songs: birthday, christmas, santa claus (sinterklaas that is 5th dec), celebrate and treat your birthday, playing soccer/football with wordly boys in a club, dating girls untill i just did at 21 (yes jw girls, one kiss a week), work week, senior trip with the class, go to disco, have long hair in the seventies, wear jeans.. now the old bastards in their ninetees are wondering why we don’t want to see them anymore.

The Borg wants the whole R&F to be ABNORMAL/ISOLATED, even if they engaged in these activities in their past lives. Every decade/year/month/week/day/hour/second HAS TO BE WT-RELATED. ONLY EVIL people want this and WORSE for other people--whether they deal with people or not. 🤬

Bring on the YOUNG elders

there seems to be a push to fast track the younger men to become elders.

beings jesus was 30 when he took up his ministry, i would think that would sort of be an age gauge...the older men were to have their children in subjection, so some were old enough to have children that were old enough to want to rebel.

( that's my slant ) how will the ones who have been jw for years respond to being counseled by those younger than some of their grandchildren?

Did you ever meet someone born in the 1800’s?

i met freddie franz who was born in the 1880’s and many others from the 1880’s.

but as a very small child i remember someone very old aged 106 and that person was born around 1856 which means that he was around people from the 1700’s..

My grandmother passed away at age 94 in 1990. She was not a dub (NI= Never In), and she was the sweetest, kindest person anyone would ever want to meet. The good thing about her was that she could see through the Borg's rhetoric [and this was when GB1.0 (Sidlik, Schroeder, Jaracz, Swingle, etc.) was living. I really miss her very much!😥

Jehovah`s Witness Elders who were Business men in The Congregations I Attended.

a number of topics have covered work experiences by members who have encountered crticism for having a full time job .in the last few congregations i had attended this was never an issue as elders had businesses they owned and employed brothers and sisters .. while i personally never worked for a jw, both my young sons did at one time or another and my wife did also .i have always worked full time in secular employment and have never been criticised for doing so .and to my knowledge nobody else ever had that experience.. in the first cong.i attended an po as they were called at the time was an insurance agent and his bro.

was an assistant po also worked with the same ins,agency.. other congs,i attended one elder was an owner of a cabinet making firm while about 3 other different elders were self employed builders who ran their own business and employed others to work for them .. at the same time a couple of ms servants had their own plastering business going on supporting these elders business.. so i`m just wondering whether this is just depending on where you are from in the world and what time period we are talking about.. the time i`m talking about was in the sixties and seventies and the area was in s.e.

LongHairGal=> I know what you mean. There are dubs (SPIMIs, particularly) who would be overly critical of the type of jobs plus the educational background of dubs they don't personally like/disrespect.

Also, within a few past congs I attended, brothers, regardless of their titles, were encouraged to be leery of sisters who had college/ university degrees, attended business school, and had certain types of employment. This included sisters who lived on their own! These bros were influenced to date plus marry sisters who only obtained a high school diploma/ GED, worked either temp or part-time, and lived at home with their parents/guardians! They did not want sisters who were classified as INDEPENDENT--the POV of those in the congs who had backward/reactionary stinkin' thinking. Welp, for those sisters who didn't get hooked up with the likes of those, I applaud them--they are FREE and don't have to deal with those sorts of problems! 👏🏽👍🏽

i have a family member who had been df'ed for 15 years or so...recently they reinstated as a jw.

when i asked what motivated them to make that decision, the response was to be able to see family and old friends.

they insisted that things were different now.

The Borg has changed mainly via GB2.0 more so to get more CONTROL in order to get more $$$$$. Their SUBLIMINAL INFLUENCE over the R&F (SPIMIs, particularly) to encourage NIs, VZs plus exdubs to return is MIND-NUMBING; they want them to LOVE BOMB folks to death. All of this FAKENESS is a nefarious means to an end, anyways.

Elders won't tell you who have falsely accused you

having been a victim of this practice twice, i thought i would see if others had the same experience.

on one occassion, i was before the elders being told i was drunk on a certain day at a certain time.

( this was only brought up because when i was pushing for a meeting because of elder mr x adultery , i was threatened somethings would be brought out about me if i persued the meeting.

One of my exdub relatives was excused of "having unscriptural dealings with men". This false accusation came out of the mouth of a very arrogant/narcissistic/boisterous/nosey-yet-popular S-D-PIMI/RP. My relative (cousin) was given a ride home from work by one of her supervisors (her department worked on a project until quite late that evening). When the supervisor dropped her off, and she shook his hand to thank him before she can shut the car door, that S-D-PIMI/RP (with another SPIMI dub) walked past by them, trying to look into the supervisor's car. She thereafter remarked: "Jah knows about what CERTAIN brothers and, in this case, sisters are actually doing behind closed doors! Well, I think we should let this be known!". These 2 biddies walked quickly away.

Sometime during the following week, cuz was called into the backroom by 2 elduhs, who questioned her. She explained the situation, and they realized that there was no wrongdoing plus didn't bother her any longer about it. She asked who accused her. They told her not to worry; they cannot reveal their sources. She found out a year later that it was that S-D-PIMI/RP (who was not only not in her cong, but also not in her cong's Circuit. The bitch tattled to her elduhs who knew one of my cousin's elduhs! DAMNING!🤬

On a couple of "Law & Order: SVU" episodes, the persons-of-interest (excuse the old BorgTerm plus pun intended) who was questioned by detectives on the porches or stoops of their homes, had called out to their family member(s) that they were "speaking with JWs, again". And it's funny: All 4 main detectives dressed just like dubs!

the reddit member mentioned that there were complaints from the branch that too many dubs "were posting too many vacation and brunch pictures [on social media] when that time could have been spent in service!

if this is reality--and knowing this cultcorporation, i wouldn't be a bit surprised--they are really trying to stop the r&f/ members from enjoying normal human activities.

Yeah, this cultcorporation wants the funds used for NORMAL ACTIVITIES to go right straight to them in their bank accounts!

LongHairGirl=> I'm sooo glad I don't have to deal with this PROBLEM any longer. The HORRORS I've--and no doubt other dubs--have experienced (excuse the BorgTerm) while engaging in this waste-of-value-time-and-life activity, such as householders who are TIRED of this cultcorporation's rhetoric, threats, fists, kicks, knives, guns, and MONSTER dogs, were definitely dreadful memories which I don't want to deal with anymore!

GB2.0 really doesn't give a DAMN about the health, welfare nor safety of the membership, making them thinking that "angelic forces are in their midst" to protect them; where there are reports of dubs also being attacked, raped and even murdered in field circus! It's just a HEINOUS situation conducted by a VERY HEINOUS ORGANIZATION! 🤬
