When does the part about claims of "we are Christian because we act like Christ" come in? -

That is a heck of a thing to say for all the money they have collected from unsuspecting hordes they have lied to and scared the shit out of with completely knowingly false prophecies of death and destruction and given so generously to the communities that they live in tax free (schools/fire/police/ambulance) and give so generously to their communities and the needy.
Oh wait ...

How will the Watchtower Cult end?

Bogles the mind. 1/3 are "IN". 2/3 want "OUT" but can't find a way. What kind of religion is that for fear of punishment? All the while the WT brags about 200% are strong members. -

How will the Watchtower Cult end? Some announcement of sorts?
There are all kinds of conspiracy theories. Their head count and time cards are all faked by the GB, and "congregations". All the hoopla of finding tax filings and stock holdings are completely fake. They publish all those things because that's what they want you to think. It's all fake. The WT is a multi-million dollar (maybe) organization with plenty of money, and stupid volunteers to manage marketing, accounting, and any reports they want you to hear. It's a tax free org. Who's going to complain over any BS filings? The IRS? Don't think so.
They are very aware of boards like this, and I'm sure they closely watch the effects of "leaked" information. It's what they do. Propaganda. Control it. Manage it.
Would they be honest and wind it down? Beg for more money? Sell their headquarters? Or just close the doors? For sale signs suddenly everywhere and no one answering the phone? How does it end?
Loosing the contained/controlled cult and publishing company is their end. People can see there is real truth in the real world. They have lost their Nazi control of lies, control, and punishments. Everyone is free.

Why the Governing Body caught a frightful fright
by Saintbertholdt init has been extensively reported on the forum that there has been a marked increase in effort over the past two years by the governing body of jehovah's witnesses to encourage an increase in monetary donations.
this has also been accompanied by the stripping of financial capital from the local congregations.
as has also been reported on this forum, this has in all probability been done to facilitate the financing of the vast new hq building project as well as the financing of the shift from a publishing company to becoming an internet based charismatic multimedia company which produces lame pixar/disney animation knock offs while simultaneously parading the governing body's ever expanding waistlines, blingy accoutrements and stupid grins.. meanwhile the financials of the organization remains as murky as ever.

What in the world makes anyone believe the Watchtower reports real numbers about anything? The propaganda department is well staffed with (free) business, marketing, and accountant people.
The "numbers" all have to look good to maintain any kind of legitimacy. I will be anyone that their total attendance count, number of "time cards", income, and total value isn't anywhere close to the truth. It is a lie to the "congregations" to keep it going, and why would they ever tell a government they don't have any respect for the truth?
I doesn't it really matters what forms people find. They know you will find them. They plant information. I would. I would use you.
They count on the rebellion to spread these lies.
Yes - they have volunteers to read all this stuff and report back to the GB on the social media trends of their fake media - and yes that means their fraudulent filings. Who would ever go after them? The IRS? They are all fake filings for propaganda of sustainability and growth. It's fake.
There is no link. There is no information that they do not want you to see. This is a multi-million dollar corporation that strictly controls WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO BELIEVE.
They could truly be penniless for all anyone knows. All a charade to keep people believing they are real and keep giving money. How else would you end the WATCHTOWER? Faking it until the very end to get money?
What if they did end? How would it go? Millions in they back or just stop answering the phones?

What if? What if the GB fakes the money? A tax exempt org. What's the downside?
If for purely manipulative reasons they fake their financial filings and total value just as much as they fake their cult head count. Propaganda control. The Watchtower does not file anything accidentally.
It's how/why they control.

DJS,
You remarkably have the worst insecurity complex I have seen in a long time. Your'e narcissism is dwarfed only by your overwhelming feelings of inadequacy and insecurity.
I hate to break it to you - you don't bother me. You are just an asshole.
I check in once or twice a week. I take a minute once in a while to comment. Your insistence on expanding definitions of physiology, that you don't understand, clearly shows your compulsion here. Good luck with that.
I'm guessing you are about 14 based on your sentence structure, miss-spellings, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
(WTF??? I mean really. What. Tha. Fuck:
And greedy. Save some warm girl bodies for the rest of us thank you thankyou
I'm going with a 13 yr old with a cell phone from his parents.

First and fore most A) the Bible students left - when Rutherford took over forcefully (he was never Russell's chosen heir) half of the "Bible Student's" just left (I wish that could happen again). It was a re-branding of the name to try and save face. B) It has always been a tax dodge - the Watchtower books profits and plays with the non-profit, tax exempt, laws in many countries under the name of a "religious" filing of JW.
There is the "Jehovah" name that no one believes is even real. Every on knows "Jehovah" was an admitted WRONG translation of YAHWEH. Seriously? How do you get from YAHWEH to "Jehovah", So who are they praying to? How do they know. I think the fictitious name was on purpose. What "God" are they actually praying to? The derivation (in translation) of JEHOVAH is JEH, or god reference, and "HOVAH" refers to liar, and "one that cannot be trusted." Who/what exactly are they praying to?
The WT has only been around about a 100 years. Most of which has been propaganda, branding, and avoidance of tax laws. They need the JW as a tax shelter.
Although in less than 100 years they have really f$%&#@ck up the brand name. NO ONE wants them showing up at their door - they are a laughing stock in all forms of media/comedy. I guess there are those that believe when are laughing with them, they think they have "made it" - they are not laughing with you - they are laughing at you.
But it would make typical sense for them to re-brand and get 100 years of laughter (at them) off their back for a while - and certainly not to be associated/connected to that JW pedophile cult group.

I agree. The irony is that in a non JW doing extensive research to make a relationship work, no matter how hard, is usually the end when you find out.

I stand by my statement. You're an asshole.
Someone came here looking for sollice, support, and advice. You were completely out of line.
If you can find something I said that was wrong please point it out.
I did. Do we need crayons here?
I gave thank you several opportunities to recant/explain. As a matter of fact, when you find something I've said that is wrong in any OP, please let me know and I will fix it.
No. It was my first comment to you. Where does " several opportunities" come from? Do I need to explain a conversation to you? It is where one person speaks and the other takes his turn, and then potentially again.
I don't know "thank you" personally. But it doesn't take much to spot a narcissistic asshole.
You asked for opinions, and you received exactly what you asked for and exactly what you deserved based on the statement - your statement - I copied. Childishly avoiding responding to negative opinions and seeking refuge behind the skirts of those who liked you Sally suggests you are emotionally immature and manipulative.
I made an honest and very accurate assessment of your statement, devoid of any venom. That is not the problem; that is the solution to childish, immature and manipulative people. Suggesting otherwise, or that those who disagree with you aren't normal and aren't optimists is manipulation of the highest level. Hiding behind the skirts of girls kinda sorta proves my point.
Mr. Koresh, you aren't smart enough to play this game with me. Go play with, and manipulate, girls. If you want to play with grown up adult males, I'm right here waiting on you Richard.
I'm one of the few people on this site that can actually help people,
Explain to everyone how you are one of the few tiny people that can help people you berate and belittle.
There are some great insecurities there ...
