by minimus ini have to say that the longer that i stay away from jehovah's witnesses, the easier it is to see that they are so wrong!
so wrong about how they live their life, so wrong about their fundamental belief system, so wrong about how they treat people---whether they are jws or aren't.
for any of you lurker witnesses here, please get off the fence and recognize you were never "in the truth".

i know of people that never tried to get ahead or prosper themselves because they were witnesses.
never bought a house or a brand new car because they would rather rent and drive around in a jalopy that would break down.

Good question Mini ( I can't believe I just said that )
I think being a witness, and especially raised in it, was to get use to rejection.
Everything else can be learned through school and education. Even elementary school children have to get up and speak, oral reports etc.
We can take good out of every bad. I watched the biography of Colonel Saunders of Kentycky fried chicken yesterday, he had a hard life, and didn't succeed in KFC until he was 65! But he was still hard headed enough to not buy stock in his own business and died not that rich. Moral? Sometimes you have to learn a new way of doing things.
They also had a bio of the founder of Wendys, Dave Thomas never completed high school, after telling students how important education is, a student called him on that he was a success, and he didn't graduate. He went out and got his GED in his 60's . He was adopted at 6 weeks, born to an unmarried mom which in those days was a big disgrace. Before he died he put his money into charities for adoption agencies. Moral? it's never to late to learn, and it's never to late to give back.
We have one life, we have to give it our best shot. That is what I am learning and living, and it does take time, but every day gets better.

Before You Leave The Witnesses, You MUST Make New Friends!!!
by minimus inmy advice to anyone that is thinking of leaving the "organization" is to make friends (real friends) with people other than jehovah's witnesses.
the sad truth is that jws are only conditional "friends".
they will drop you like a hot potato if they think you want to leave.

the buyer was not named.
the society's headquarters includes several factory buildings, printing operations, hotels and living quarters and currently houses more than 1,000 volunteers, according to j.r. brown, director of public affairs for the wtbts.

OK,
So my whole life ,I have heard the make fun of the Pope , jokes.
This is a guy who gave who whole life to what he believed in, and lived it.
So later on in life he got a pope mobile, and lived in the lap of luxury. And then he got old and is dying.
Did he ever believe in everlasting life on this earth?
So why the sorrow for the Catholics? They should be rejoicing for his return to God? or is he a god, or another Jesus..I am so confused... where are my Pandas and soccer balls???
