  We’re all allowed to hate the WT for their Hypocrisy, but not when an individual is equally as Hypocritical?

  I hate the WT organisation as much as Lloyd Evans now, for both the same reason.

  I’m with K&M on this one.

  if your a public figure like Lloyd is, publicly critiquing everything WT says and does, you better make sure you are squeaky clean yourself.

  People have a right to know where their donations are going, obviously not to his “activism” work. Unless activism includes sleeping with hookers.

  It’s not even the fact it was a one off mistake, he’s been doing it for years. Poor wife and kids.

  Yeah, the statement might stink of Hatred, but is that a forbidden feeling or something?

  Not at all surprised by the allegations, they are probably true. Hypocrite.

  Lying about his Mental Health? Well, Mental Health is quite a broad term, so he’s used that term to give a false impression about what’s really going on.

  Kim & Mikey, how have you deduced that it involves “minors”…if that is true, he’s got a whole world of other problems coming his way.

  Hypocrisy of the highest order.

  Some of those Reddit comments defending him are absolutely crazy. Cult of personality. They worship him over there.

  Sorry, just found where it mentions Minors. Well, she’s not wrong. Prostitution, especially in Eastern Europe is very very seedy.

  look...i've had my beef with lloyd aka cedars and some of the stuff he says or does but equally i respect what he is trying to do and what he has achieved in terms of waking people up.. he intimated he had mental health issues years ago but his video today is brutal...i see pain in his eyes and he is suffering.

  his family come first and the man needs to heal.. yes he has issues that many on here see but its not the man that is important but his work.. but the man needs time to heal mentally and i wish he does so.

  he deserves that despite the feelings and things that have happened in the past with the exjw community.. he has done so much for the exjw community in general that i hope all give him a little clack and he returns.. if any of us did what he did we may be in the same boat but none of us do...see past the man and see his work but equally the man is suffering and it is pretty sad...i hope he gets better soon.

  But…..He is a Grease Ball.

  Lloyd will look after Lloyd (and his family), and “IF” WT offered him some early retirement, my feelings are he would take it in a heartbeat.

  Maybe if he spent 10/15 mins on is videos instead of, what, 4 hours, he wouldn’t be “burnt out”..

  He gave an analogy, that he’s like a fireman, it’s not his responsibility to rebuild the house after he’s saved them from the fire….But watching that video of him “helping” the guy leaving Selters bethel (Germany), it made me extremely angry, knowing Lloyd probably only did it for views and likes.

  Wouldn’t be surprised if we never heard from him again.

  2020’s are already a Train Wreck for JW ORG

  as the title says, we are nearly at the end of the 2nd year of the 2020’s, and already jw org is not only a car crash, but an absolute train wreck.. i’ve watched the annual meeting 2021 already, and it seems the gb are in fighting, morris openly disagreeing with lett, that is massive, and it’s something that has largely not been commented on by this community.

  covid-19 is not going anywhere, any trial meetings will surely be shut down, now omicron is doing the rounds.. it looks highly likely we will see a second negative growth year.

  “young ones” are waking up by the masses.

  I think it gives the PIMOs something substantial to bring up to their spouses/friends/family.

  A lot of things can not be brought up, child abuse allegations for example, without getting it shut down by the true believers, or without some suspicion as to where the info was found out.

  Literally Lett said last year in the Covid update, that we are in the last day of the last days. and already Morris is critical of it. And the videos are so easy to find.

  What it does is give PIMOs an opportunity to say “I’ll take everything they say with a punch of salt”, because what’s written or said is changed so quickly.

  It’s quite hard to explain the nuance without seeing both videos.

  I’ve had a re-think about the 0.6 decrease. I think it will be larger.

  But like I have said, I think the religion isn’t going anywhere (3 months ago), but I do think it will drastically different from today.

  The JW religion will not die off by 2030, but I suspect it will be vastly different than the 2021 version we see today.

  I suppose only time will tell.

  But like most train wrecks, you can’t help but watch, and as a PIMO Elder, I am watching closely with a smile on my face.

  i believe the the organization will tell it's members to sign over their mortgages and savings to the organization.

  because of the impending fall of the financial institutions and the organization is the only place where it will be safe.

  this has to be the only scenario possible because obviously they won't do a jonestown and where could 8 million flee to?

  I agree that this is a significant decrease, but let’s not kid ourselves, the WT organisation will still be alive and well even with an annual 0.6% loss. Any reports of it’s near collapse are largely exaggerated.

  Although this all might sound pessimistic, I still hold on hope that something massive will cause the WTs collapse, one event that will bring it to its knees. But sadly, that’s all most of us can do, hope.

  i’m reservations, pimo elder.

  i’m in no position to leave the organisation, maybe some people will see that as weak or whatever, but we have to all go down our own path in life.. i would like to be able to wake people up in my congregation, how do you think best to do this?

  any ideas?.

  You all make some fantastic points. Thanks for the advice.

  On the point of “why” I want to wake people up…pistolpete you make a good point, the paradise has a calming effect on people, they will wake up when they want. Maybe I need to just focus on myself more, and what will be will be.

  There is also an element of staying an elder, then when something scandalous happens (ie: child abuse coverup hits the fan) quit in a blaze of glory, but I think I might just be kidding myself. You can forever put off leaving, waiting for the precise moment. I don’t know.
