  Lesbian protest kiss at convention during CO's talk... taking it too far?

  i had the funniest thought at work...what if me and three apostate friends protest at a convention, and right before the song during a c.o's talk, we got up, and pretended like we were gonna do a normal sister embrace, and then, out of no where, me and the other 'sister' do would a long lesbian kiss while the c.o.

  is giving a talk on fornication....what do you guys think the audience would do?.

  Come on we are not supposed to reason all the time. There are a ton of things we do everyday that does not utilize the reasoning portion of the brain. But we still do it. We all do. Come on.

  What's The Biggest Difference In Today's JWs And The Witnesses From Decades Ago?

  i believe today's witnesses lack zeal, resolve, "love" of the "truth"......just to name a few things.. years ago, witnesses were excited to knock on doors and tell people they were gonna die if they didn't accept paradise.. now, when you see jws in service, they all look zombied out.. it's a slowly dying religion that will last probably forever like an ancient rotted out tree..

  Overheard at Airport

  while in line at the tsa pat down line i overheard 2 women talking about how they couldn't (or shouldn't) eat pepperoni pizza from a certain national chain because they heard from a cousin of a friend in a neighboring congregation (i never got the whole chain of source info) that the meat ingredients listed "animal by-products" and how everyone knows that means blood.. .

  well i couldn't help myself, so i leaned over the velvet rope separating us and i excused myself for eavesdropping and asked "are you 2 young ladies jehovah's witnesses?".

  to which they blushed, giggled a little and replied "yes".

  Back then it was ok to socialize after the Memorial. The entire congragtion would go to Di Ciccos afterward. It was geat times! But that got squashed as innappropiate. Not ok to have fellowship and good times. I still cant believe that got squashed.

  Nugget ... you bring up a valid point. Asking a child to keep a secret is too much. After all adults cant even do it. Plus the implication is that you are doing something that needs to be hidden, something bad.
