Feeling down.... BIG time

i know i don't post here often.... i just lurk around and read most of the threads daily (from my phone)....but today is one of those days that i just feel like "blah"... i dont care about anything, i realize i dont have anything, all my friends are busy or with their own set of problems... and i just dont want to bother then.. it sucks..... i just need to vent, let everything out... i really want to scream, but i cant... i wish i could run away from everything and just start fresh, i feel like a failure and i just dont like me at all....i was so down a few days ago i was thinking about going back to the hall, because i feel so lonely... but i refused to let my depression make me do something so silly... .

thanks for even looking at this thread... i just need it to vent or i am going to explode.... :(.

Not only do I hear you but I have felt that way before too. But I didnt consider going back to the Borg that's for sure. And needing to vent is, of course, normal. Thank to this forum you can do this with others listening to you, not just waiting for you to stop talking so they can talk, but really considering your thoughts.

leavingwt- Thats kinda a trick question. You cant be politically neutral. You can not speak your opinion but everyone has an opinion. You can be neutral on an issue but you can be neutral on all issues. So to answer your question, I now voice my political opinion.

i see a few want to believe in the watchtower's view of bible prophecy, scriptural understandings and the view that the "anointed remnant" dispense the "spiritual food at the proper time".. how would you refute those views?.

It is ironic that it was due to the DF docturine that caused me to see the dark side of the Borg. Had it not been for that I would still be "in". Being DF freed me to read "apostate" material and research JW history beyond what the WBTS publishes. I had no idea of the sexual abuse in the orginazation. Now I have my eyes opened and have knowledge of several things like they own/invest in warfare technology, investment in phillip morris, tyes to the UN, flip floppiing doctrine, and so on. They did me a favor by kicking me out. I did however lose my parents, and my brother.

Sic Semper Tyrannis- I totally relate you your experience growing up as a JW. Our lives differ in that I totally embrace the cause and the lifestyle only to DF years later, to the embaressment and shame of my family. Who now can relate to me? JW net. Who is now loyal to me? My daughter. If I can help others who have been cast off I would be happy to extend a hand. I live on the cental coast in CA if there is anybody out there who wants to cantact me. Do you work with any Dubs?

i just found out that one of my coworkers is a witness.. it got me thinking about my past jobs.

in four out of the last five jobs i've held i have worked with witnesses.

it got me pretty paranoid at times because i was a classic "double-lifer".

Being DF and having to work with jdubs is awkward. I have noticed that I have the ability to make them comfortable around me as long as I play the role, but they do not have the ability to make me comfortable around them. The strong can support the weak, but the weak cannot support the strong.

Orange Co meetup

Thanks to all! I enjoyed meeting designs, cyberjesus, bizzy, iquit,and of coarse dagney. There was one more but I didnt get his cyber name. What a great group of people. It ws worth the 5 hr drive. Made better time on the way back, only 4hrs, ha ha. Till next time.
