if it is WRONG today to celebrate pagan Christmas (Disfellowshipping Offence) then it was WRONG in 1926 to celebrate pagan Christmas - 7 years after Jesus "chose" them as the true christians on earth, the Faithful and discreet servant.

That French Tax Thing

some time ago the wts got stung for a hefty tax bill in france.

they dragged it out for years in the courts, and finally last summer it was announced at the dc that the european courts found in their favour.

of course it was all down to persecution i remember friends at bethel in london telling me how busy they were because the french branch had closed down and all printing was being moved to london.based on these scriptures i have never understood why they didn't just pay it?
