  My Mother Died Two Weeks Ago

  this video deal with some really important information that i wanted to share with you all, looks like it may have hit a nerve in the watchtower, because the stock link he mentioned in the video has been taken down, it was up yesterday, he says he plays chess and anticipated they would do that, so he supplied a secondary link to the same information.

  the entire 8 part series is very informative exposing alot about watchtower doctrine, and hidden elements.

  JeffT, Good points. Can the beneficiary of a trust account sell? I suppose it depends on how the trust was originally set up.

  Fake Reporting, Growth and Crap Blessings

  i think the numbers shown in the yearbook and with other occasions that are used by the gibberish buddies to boast about the blessings from jehovah are super fake and inflated, much of it even without their knowledge.

  i think they like to take advantage of all sorts of technicalities and loopholes to report numbers as great as possible, but it's not like jws are super reliable sources of reporting.for example i have not been in field circus for something like two years.

  i never talked about "the truth" with any non-jw, yet i've never been considered inactive.

  Mynameislame, That's interesting. What ISN'T said is often as important as what is.

  Tacitly "allowing" drive time to and from the territory could add millions of hours to the already inflated yearly report.

  My Mom Is Dying

  i just wanted to say that my dear 89 year old mom is terminally ill and will soon pass.

  she is on morphine and hanging on.

  she has been a devout witness for about 60 years and a wonderful mother.

  Up until recently I thought that all this begging for money was simply greed on the part of the Borg. Now I realize they are either in financial trouble or see it coming... "soon".

  Just to add a couple of anecdotes to the discussion: I have a born in relative who is a wealthy contractor (I won't say the trade). A couple of days ago he grudgingly flew from California to Warwick on his own dime. Why? Because the the "outside contractor" hired by the WTBT$ botched the engineering on a small job that could have been done for about $50,000 by a volunteer tradesman. They paid the "worldly" engineer $400,000.00 and it doesn't work.!!! My relative has been asked to "fix the mess"!!! He agreed to "see what he can do" but with the expense of this unnecessary trip, food and lodging I know he won't be giving any other cash for awhile. Imagine that happening regularly in this immense project, we are talking BIG money.

  Another story: Some years ago a relatively young widowed sister bought property that she found out later once had an old gas station on it. Long story short she lost ALL of her investment because the money it takes to conform to governmental regulations requiring toxic cleanup is astronomical. She couldn't afford the cleanup and she was stuck with worthless property. I bring this up because as I understand it, Warwick property has/had this issue. Just getting the property cleaned up to qualify for the building permits would likely be an extraordinary unexpected expense. Sure, they may have a case against the seller/s for lack of "full disclosure" or against any outside source that represented the property but these cases take a looong time to resolve. It could take years to get that cleanup money back if at all!

  Another anecdote: At this summer's Apostafest I met up with a wealthy newly xjw who had recently made a $40,000 donation to the building fund. Well, now that he's out, there will be no more donations from him and some of his family. Since the best and brightest continue to leave so will their money. In many cases the money has left the building BEFORE Elvis. LOL

  Reflecting on my Disfellowshipping

  today is the day.. i was baptized as one of jehovah's witnesses on march 25th 1989.disfellowshipped for admitted apostasy today, september 10th 2015.. what an amazing story we all share.

  how did we get involved with this group and think this was the best way of life?.

  i asked my wife to stay home from the meeting tonight and spend the evening with me.she is.... we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this past monday.. i must admit, i never saw any of this coming, but it couldn't have come sooner.i'm free of all the fake friendships.

  What a day indeed! At least there is nothing more that Watchtower can do to you. The so called "worst" has happened. To quote my cousin, "What can they do to me now? Double disfellowship me? Ha ha.

  soooo...i have recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and am scared out of my mind.

  in a weak moment, i called my parents and my mom answered.

  i start crying as i tell her about my disease, and this woman says to me:.

  babygirl, I am so sorry for your health issues which surely must be compounded by the heartache caused by your mother. My mother is similar to yours and I know all too well how you must be feeling.

  I finally came to realize that my mother is toxic and in order to preserve my mental health I must avoid her like the poison she is. Someday your parents will be old and need care. Please refer to this incident when you decline their request for help.

  Dagney, my hubby has been talking to a JW friend of his who for years has been complaining about the WTBTS and GB yet refuses to leave or take any decisive action........until the ARC hearings. For reasons only he knows, seeing the whole thing and watching GJ testify was FINALLY the tipping point for him. He may be joining us soon.

  i was born into jws, pioneered for 10 years (met my husband at pioneer school).

  had health issues that saw me catapulted away from 'the centre of the cong' and wow what a different place that was!

  Welcome Peony, You have a great story. Mine has many things in common with yours including hubby being disgusted with the mishandling of an infamous child abuse case and resigning as an elder.

  I too, suffered depression, and anxiety attacks, still do, but have dramatically improved since learning TTATT.

  I am very grateful to have left with my husband too. Let's compare Christmas decorations! LOL
