  Silent And Sweet Rebellion Going On Within JW Organization!

  after 1975, the vast majority remained as though nothing has happened.

  but some left the organization.

  however, there arose a third category who did not leave the organization, but brought a new view into their heart: jws are right in their core cause (gods kingdom as the solution to mankinds problems) but may or may not be right in their supplementary teachings, hence are not bothered about changes happening in this unimportant area..

  JWs have more good points than bad

  1) many who were on the destructive path have been transformed by their teachings (this includes me who was once vicious, and presumptuous and atheistic).

  2) equal monthly pay to all members of the bethel community regardless of whether they are bc members or sweepers.

  this is something that still remains as an unattainable dream for the world.

  ISW, Leaving JWs is similar to a divorce. I know because I have done both. Married 30 years and almost 60 as a born in JW.

  There is a process of grief that comes with both. At the end comes acceptance. After acceptance comes real happiness. If circumstances don't allow for happiness at least there is the peace of mind that comes from a clear conscience and freedom of mind.

  do you have any songs that you have listened and then thought that it also works from an apostate point of view?i have always liked this song, but one time realized that i was thinking how it sounds awfully familiar, if you think about those who have lost family/friends due to leaving.this song was originally made/written because one of the actors died in a car accident.

  JAMES WOODS is in the hospital (heart related)

  james woods has been a long time regular on this discussion group in all of its incarnations.. he had some kind of "heart-attack" and has been in dallas' emergency ward for several days.

  he also has a blood clot doctors are working to break up.. 972-261-4412 is his cell number.. he was in a talking mood yesterday afternoon.. i bet it wouldn't kill him to get some well-wishes.. james goes back a long way as an ex-jw.

  he knows where the bodies are buried :).

  ISW1961 I am curious if you think that your appointment as elder was by Holy Spirit? If so, how exactly? I ask this because you have stated that you don't approve of all of Watchtower's teachings and policies but keep your mouth shut about it. Smart.

  I have several relatives who are elders doing the same as you- enjoying the privileges and status of their "positions" secretly holding different views than the WTBTS. They have the comfort of maintaining relationships with friends and family as well as the the social benefits of their tight inner circle who also secretly discard many of the "details" of the religion. It just so happens that they are successful businessmen who are enjoying good health, live in multi million $ homes, are able to travel the world, and have supplied their children with businesses they will inherit.

  If a JW like you is able to "fake it" there is no motivation to leave. This site however, is mostly comprised of those whose consciences won't allow them to live this way. They feel morally compelled to live truthfully and authentically despite the consequences.

  I conclude by asking a follow up question: Why would Holy Spirit appoint a brother who is not a true believer?

  No more printing of WT and Awake in my country.. Shit just got real

  a letter was just read in out kh stating that all printing of wt and awake is ceased for the coming year and we will just place tracts on fs, countries which were cared by our branch will be cared by other countries...along with this they read the new fs form and stuff about reporting links of videos wtf..lol.

  i can't tell which country perhaps that will give away a lot, any one with a similar information.

  RespectfulO, you took the words right out of my mouth. Watchtower would rather close up shop in India than perform any legitimate charitable works.

  Besides, I doubt even if India still allowed foreign money in to help, the WTBT$ would rather use their donations to enlarge the swimming pool and tennis courts at Warwick than distribute their supposedly lifesaving message to a largely impoverished county. (not enough potential return on their investment.)

  many here whom have read my previous posts know more or less my situation.

  wife is not hardcore but we still bump heads from time to time.

  if it wasn't for this cult, and while it was not an issue, we had an almost perfect marriage.

  I may not be understanding the whole picture here but I see her willingness to accompany you to therapy and "agreeing to disagree" as great. I don't know what more you could ask of a believing born in with friends and family still in.

  I am not sure of what you expected the therapist to say at her first session with your wife. Usually there is only time for the therapist to listen to the story and get a feel for the person and the situation.

  My advice would be to hold to your decision to fade. At this point back off trying to convince her of TTATT. Offer her extra love, attention, and FUN. If and only IF she gives you a hard time about leaving remind her of her words to the therapist where she agreed to disagree. Then......

  Accept her right to believe and ENJOY the rest of your life!

  i wanted to send you a note of "thanks" on this special day.. why is this day special, you may ask?

  one year ago today, you, tony, woke me up to the fact that the governing body could not have jehovah's blessing or direction.. last year, on november 8th & 9th, 2014, the united states branch visit was broadcast to over 1,000,000 jehovah's witnesses across the country.. as i sat at the kingdom hall listening to the "historic occasion," i was ignoring certain doubts that had surfaced in the few months prior.

  Congrats to you Cappy and your family for exiting the cult and gaining your freedom. We apostates can't match the effectiveness of the GB to wake people up.

  One example is a long time JW friend of ours who has had doubts about the Borg for years but has clung to it nevertheless. Hubby and I have said all we could think of to help him reason and wake up with little or no effect. Enter TM3 last year, then ARC. The Governing Idiots and Liars by their own words convinced him there is NO Holy spirit anywhere near these guys. He now believes TTATT and is in the process of a fade. :)

  a non-witness insider told me this week that the wts has financial problems.

  that lead to halting down their building plans and lay off the special pioneers and.

  bethelites.. the reason of the financial stagnation is beside some bad investments,.

  I recently posed a hypothetical question to hubby. "What would you do if you learned TTATT and were a career Bethelite?" "What if you were in the inner circle of trust?" We both decided if we had any access to WT money it would be tempting to pay ourselves back for our long service. (embezzle and form a phony account overseas) If that were not feasible we would stay at Bethel as long as we could and work against WT interests as much as possible without being caught. Leaking confidential info being a top priority.

  Who can be sure a few others are not doing these very things?
