  Can you imagine a JW being asked why he didn't go to the meeting and answering with, "I just didn't want to" The illness card is all they got.

  I agree wih all the posts. I have a theory about all of the sickness in the KH both real and imagined. Remember when you were in school and the only EXCUSED absence was illness? Wellllllllll there you have it.

  "Since long before World war I Jehovah's Witnesses pointed to 1914 as the time for this great event to occur." WT 6 /15 1954 Jehovahs Witnesses didn't exist until 1931. The IBSA before 1919 are no longer recognized as having the truth. Russell has recently been fired.

  the word out of bethel is of a mass purge the likes of the 1980's.. there's also possible public reproofs handed out for irregular ones.. .

  the scriptures they are using to support this:.

  the very ones keeping away from you will perish.

  In the past the WTBT$ wou give "suggestions" about behavior that clearly isn't mentioned in the bible. The weasley words used were "Mature Christions" would or would not do (fill in the blank). Most JW's want to be considered mature and not spiritual babies so they try to live by their suggestions. Shunning the innactive could be acomplished the same way. "Mature Christions would do well to avoid ANYONE who has left Jehovah, as association with such a one could influence a true Christian to slow down his sacred service". Mission accomplished without any public announcement.

  I just googled Jerry Minor. He has a great body of work. I didn't know he was a performer and writer on SNL. There is a link to his performance on Bill Mahr's show where he becomes the character L. Witherspoon. Absolutely had me in stiches. I hope there is a big crowd for this movie tomorrow. I wish i could be there!

  Besty got it right. No need for official announcements-ever. The rabid followers are ALREADY doing it. (my entire family) My family also shuns the grown grandchild who NEVER WAS baptised who "should have been and chose to reject Jehovah". Hubby and I have NEVER expressed doubts or any other behavior against the rules except being inactive. To them we have "left the Troof" All the GB needs to do is motivate ALL JWs to become as rabid as my family.

  My Daughter Is Having Her Own Apostofest With 30 "Inactive" JWs At A Local Restaurant Saturday Night

  she has planned to get together with all these 35 plus year olds and it originally was going to be about 10, then word got out.. she is calling it "fallen angels"....(my daughter is too funny!

  Awesome! I'd love to start something like that where I live. Kinda like the Red Hat Society for ex Jws. Lets see, we could call it Broads without Bookbags unless someone has a better name.
