it is NOT natural for people to be jumping all over every major news event hopeing/praying that this signifies the beginning of god's killing 6 billion people. Doesn't sound to 'natural' to me
the issue here is viewpoint. witnesses dont view it as a killing of
6 billion people. it is viewed as an end to wickedness on this earth.
that is why it doesnt sound natural to you.
well, the other night i had invited a young man to my house to share with him, respectfully, the false prophecies of the wt, using older wt books.
the conversation started very nicely, with the usual small talk and such.
i decided to ask some questions, that i knew the answers to, but just wanted to get the gears in his head turning.

as we as a country and a collection of people begin a process that will surely be painful, dirty and bloody, let us not forget that this nation has been through painful, dirty and bloody processes before.

i originaily said to myself that i was not going to post anything about last sundays "drama" at the dc because i did not want to stir up trouble.
but after reading about the watchtowers' less than charitable attitude toward their nyc neighbors i had a change of heart.. i sat there that morning with my wife and relatives, my eyes heavy from lack of sleep, children on either side of me already in dream land.

watching the david letterman "late show" last night was very touching.. dave had on as his main guest, dan rather, cbs newsman and anchor.
of the cbs evening news.. now, this man, rather, is supposed to be a hardened journalist,.
whose job is to report the news objectively and hide emotions/opinion.. he has seen a lot in his long career as a journalist.. he broke down in tears last night twice while dave was interviewing .
