  Who here loves to garden?

  i love to flower garden, i have a really nice one in front of my house.. i have.

  holly hocks, primrose, lilacs, daisy's, oriental poppy's.

  i also have miniture roses along my sidewalk and i'm getting a peony tree very soon.

  GOING TO A KH FUNERAL NEXT WEEK

  it will be the first time i've entered a kh in about 4 or 5 years.

  the woman who died was very old.

  i hadn't seen her in a very long time, we weren't close but i remember her being really nice to us as kids.

  Don't give in to any pressure the elders may give you for being there(suggesting you leave)it is supposed to be a public place of worship, stick to your guns and get the closure you need.

  when i was very young about 12 or 13 my brother [he's mad, not much older] sometimes used to do a cheeky magic trick during the watchtower[god, this was the most boring of them all, i think].

  he used to put his hands by his side and miraculously the books on his lap would rise all by themselves [yeah, you guessed it ...morning glory], well it made me laugh my head off.

  i bet people could see my shoulders bouncing up and down from the back row.

  do you feel a memorial on a hwy is offense?

  here in wisconsin, around 6months ago we had a terrible crash on one of our freeways because of fog and driveing to fast for conditions.there were many casualities, anyway many persons who loved ones died in that crash have memorials at the sight such as crosses ,flowers ,etc.well it seems the county were this happened wrote letters to all persons leaving memorials to stop ,their saying it is a road hazard and a distraction to drivers.well now we hear it is non religious people are complaining , saying it is offense to them to have to drive by these shrines.

  i feel if they dont like it they should close their eyes.

  I think it makes me more aware of that particular area. I have seen one at an intersection right next to a school where a couple of children died, so everytime I go through that intersection I take extra caution to look out for other children. I didn't know the circumstances of the accident, but I think those memorials should make us think a little extra about the people around us, and that in our busy,hectic and fast paced life that all of us at one time or another get caught up in, that we sometimes forget to take others into consideration and slow down....that's how accidents happen.
