  Do you anger easily?

  are you able to stay calm when you have a disagreement with someone?

  some people get mad and angry at nothing and that is unpleasant.

  i think that people should be able to talk calmly even if they don't agree on a subject.. do you anger easily, or are you the calm type like me?

  I can generally stay calm, however, I'm also one of those you mess with me and I'll do twice what you did to end it. I used to be really bad when it comes to driving, I just can't stand those morons, but I've learned from other people how those situations can escalate and now I tend to let it roll off my back, it's not that important in the grand scheme of life.

  In Your Opinion, What Is The Purpose Of This Board?

  my understanding is that this board can serve as a place to come so that jw's and ex-jw's can get together to discuss mostly, jw issues as well as matters such as our likes and dislikes of a non-religious nature.

  since there are so many posters here, could you please express what you think this place is for?

  Well aside from the bickering of the kids here from time to time, I like to think this is a place where we can all get along and truely express how love should be, not the dub way. I can come here and know that anyone of you have had the same thing happen to them at one time or another. There are true friends here that cannot be found anywhere else, and that says alot coming from someone that doesn't call just anybody friends. I've only been here about a year but, I've been taught that different points of view are important, otherwise we might just as well be dubs still. The need to let those views roll off our backs is as equally important....It's interesting how you can learn things without meeting anybody face to face.

  What are you doing for the Victoria Day / Memorial Day Weekend ?

  we canadians get a jump on the first long weekend of the season, over our american neighbours, who have to wait another week before the memorial day weekend ( see there it is again, that term "american").

  i was curious as to who has made plans for the victoria day long weekend, and what you are doing ?

  cj and i are hitching up the trailer, and going to one our favourite camping spots, on the pennisula of lake superior, known as sleeping giant provincial park.

  not necessarily with anything in particular, but, with the world in general?

  watching the news is disturbing, there just seems to be so little compassion or empathy.

  most of us are so spoiled and we don't even realize it!

  Essie I didn't know you were in Michigan, I remember that it was terrible, just a day ago some lady went to the casino for a couple of hours, when she came back she met the police as they were puuling her kids out of the car a passer bt noticed the kids. They are fine.

  when a girl reaches the age of puberty or physical maturity, her body has developed in the matter of sex more than in the mind.

  young folks like to be together, first in groups, later in twos.

  At my last job there was a entering and exiting interview...I wonder if the same applies here.

  i found an old friends family by using the web.

  i'm hoping they are not jw's anymore.

  i have sent them an e-mail and i'm waiting for a reply, i'm trying not to get my hopes up, one of this families sons used to be my best friend.
