  Is It Fair To Discipline Born-Into-It's?

  a born-into-it teenager or maybe someone in their early 20's, gets df'd for an unspecified offence.

  later the df'd person protests that df'ing is unscriptural and inhumane, only to be told "you knew the score, you knew what would happen, it's your fault".. but is it?

  maybe it might be fairer for a converted person to be df'd for breaking the rules, after all, a converted person has joined the jw's willingly and has therefore accepted the witness rules.

  My two cents since I was a born into it,is that each individual should be old enough to hold a job and experience the outside world,by doing that you gain a broader perspective of the world.You also can then make the decision of weather or not to join,because of the ramifications later in life,

  Hey,terafera the johnnie I know is black around 30ish lives in Anchorage last I knew.I'm not in Alaska anymore but I lived there back in 1990.His last name would be johnson.

  SUICIDE IN KH PARKING LOT

  last saturday, a former ministerial servant and pioneer committed suicide in the woodinville washington kingdom hall parking lot.

  he was disfellowshipped several years ago, and according to the old sister that related the story to me today, he was depressed because no one would talk to him.

  i don't know how i kept calm when she explained to me that "we couldn't talk to him...he was disfellowshipped.".

  This make me very worried because I have friends that are still jw's and some of them are not very strong emotionally,this could push them to an act such as this.I lost a friend to suicide years ago because her husband was leaving her (both jw's)and she committed suicide,after that the friends of hers still associated with the husband and all they could talk about was that she would not be resurrected.

  Cult Sacrifices Child

  taunton, massachusetts - a religious sect leader who said he was following instructions from god when he let his infant son slowly starve to death was convicted of murder friday and sentenced to life in prison without parole.. the jury took 6 1/2 hours to find 29-year-old jacques robidoux guilty of first-degree murder.

  his son, samuel, was fed only his mother's breast milk for 51 days and died in 1999, three days shy of his first birthday.. during the trial, robidoux said his sister had received a vision from god telling the couple to stop feeding the baby solid food.. robidoux choked back tears as he described how samuel went from a healthy, 10-month-old boy taking his first steps to a baby so withered he could no longer even crawl.

  his tiny bones were visible, and he cried in pain.. "his cry wasn't a normal baby's cry," robidoux testified.
