i went to the meeting on sunday because i wanted to.

hear the comments on the watchtower study, i knew that someone would say something about dateline or the silentlambs, because the watchtower article being studied is the march first issue that talked about the "slanderous media reports".. .

i came to this site via freeminds.com and am really quite surprised to learn that this site is maintained by active jw's (am i correct?

- i'm a slow learner).

i get the feeling i maybe getting the shun treatment, which is okay, for i understand that for the mindset from which it originates.

I agree with Big Tex, there is the troll issue here, which I totally understand. It's sorta like a break in period, I only have about 390 posts and alot of people are coming around to me because I have posted for a while and they can see my opinions....stick with it people just need to get to know you....Cheese boy could the three stooges run with that one! lol.

i got an e-mail today from an old high school friend who, after we met for coffee, said "wow, you're normal again!

i mean, you were boring, stuffy, and generally not much fun when you became a jw.

now you're back to the old so-and-so that i remember, i love it!

Oh, heck yes! I used to be so humble and meek I used to get run over all the time...the human door mat, now shoot if you try to run me over I'm bringing out the steamroller and mowing all of them down! I'm much more assertive and I am the leader now, not the follower, I will question just about everything.

i have decided that it may be better if we call a halt to the topics about america and the war in general.. there is more background info in that topic but the key points are:all these topics are distracting from the main purpose of the board.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but it sounds to me like dolphman is the one with his panties in a wad. If you read his posts carefully, it has all the rants of a troll. Just remember dolphman, don't point your finger because there are three pointing right back at you.
