  7 years ago i was this "ultra spiritual elder".

  you name it, i was visible all over the region.

  i was the coordinator, on the convention committee, rbc, had a talk at every convention and assembly, regular pioneer, etc.

  HI James. Try checking out this site - www.beroeans.net for a different spiritual perspective. There are a lot on this site who are still physically in yet have lingering doubts, those who have opened their eyes and discovered what ails the JW organization.

  i just learned that my wife's congregations will soon be disbanded.

  her congregation will disappear (cahuenga spanish in north hollywood in southern california).

  all the members will be added to other neighboring congregations.

  What could be the main reasons for disbanding? Poor attendance only or could there be other reasons unknown to us?

  Walking a thin line - Resigning Elder

  warning of a long boring post ahead.

  i feel like i need to vent my story out, as i feel quite helpless at the moment.. i'm 31 year old, married, father of toddler with another one on the way, due later this month.

  i've been serving as elder for about 4 years now in a south florida congregation.

  Hi Bro. LEE good morning. What a touching and moving story. I am just an MS for years, never accepted the privilege of being an elder for I was privy to some judicial cases the results of which got my antenna up. Also knew of disagreements and politics within the body. Never motivating. Plus the obligation to judge and disfellowship? This is a very touch assignment to take.
