harold camping is the president of family radio and recently on his open forum program he denied that hell is a place.
he also has set dates for the return of christ the first was in 1994 and now he says it will be 2011. he also states that the end of the church age has come, but he has weekly meetings that are not church.
does this sound familiar to anyone here?
I am predicting the year 2011 AD with my own calculating methods. Harold Camping is very distinctive in his preaching - the most challenging preacher on the radio to count with. I am a very frequent listener to his Open Forum programs .Note he is considered by me as my opponent.
He was predicting the year 1994 AD as I did too.You can listen to his programs but that doesn't mean you have to agree with everything he teaches.It is your own decision.

Would you like to be in the shoes of that professor and die in six months or to be a homeless without success , eating food from the trash and live far beyond the six-months period ? I would rather be a homeless .
Would you like to be a Jehovah's Witness and live forever or to be a man of succeses with the most beautiful wife and children ,live out life to the end for six months more and die for ever ?

Six months from now that professor will be dead and at that time there will be people who homeless and eat food from trash containers and who will be better off at that time ? The dead professor with his past successes or homeless people ? What is better a dead man who was very successful or a living man with almost nothing ?

Dear Lady , what I have read there is not what the true life of the true believer is about. And my impression is you probably were never a real Jehohav's Witnesses and no wonder you might have left the group to live like the people of this world are living ,right ? Those who left the Organization seems to have fallen from the frying pan of limitations ,inconveniences the true worship requieres of the true believers into the fire where they want comfort themselves by living this life out like normal people do -the people of this world . It is about going with the main stream what other people are doing is the most convenient and free of troubles etc.
Thers is nothing good in the professor's lecture except some human ordinary emotions .The professor already stated in the beginning of lecture it will not be spiritual and about religion ! It is enough to ignore his speech ! How come the standing ovation he got ?

The Bible is the place to look for the true inspirations . If Christ had no greater effect on you then you will be disappointed.
Also you look first at what kind of religion is a person from whom you want to get inspiration.
