I was never bothered but after more than a decade I was phoned by an elder asking me personal questions about my life, never bothered to ask me how I am or anything of the sort, just if I had been committing sin. Such nice people.

Were you Stalked or Chased After Once you Exited the JW's by Elders ?
by flipper ini tried to fade off the map by moving 30 miles initially in 2004 after i exited in late 2003 .
the first several years they didn't bother me.
i ran into a elder from my former congregation in late 2005 in an antique store - he tried telling me i was wrong for stopping attending meetings.

Ray Franz.....LIAR?
by integ inone of my witness family members agreed to take a look at crisis of conscience, and after.
perusing the first couple of chapters, said that she thought it could be all made up.
agreed that the documents presented could be legitimate, but as far as franz's personal.

Mouthy - I've experienced things first hand (none of this, i'm not in the US/Canada) that would make your blood boil, I just ignored a lot of it until it got to a point where I couldn't cope with it anymore, sad thing is all these years later I've never been able to move on with my life without being in fear. No ones believes you (in the org) and you're just a trouble maker.
There's more at stake for me because, without saying too much, someone important to me still attends. I'm sorry if that sounds suss, i'm just being careful.

Cheers :)
I've got the 2nd book as well, it's hard to get through the first because I constantly have to go back over it and over it to try and get it to sink in. I wish he gave a nice bullet point list at the end ;)
He comes across as a thoroughly decent bloke.

I've read just over half of COC the last few days, very revealing. I must say, even though I left of my own accord 10 years ago I still, even in the face of the evidence, feel sick to my stomach, guilty, unworthy on top of already feeling bad about reading the book in the first place. It really messes with you. I actually feel quite disgusted about the things i'm reading in Ray's book. I considered myself a bit of a student back when I was there and I knew virtually none of this stuff. Blinded.

i've just been listening to these podcasts, spent all day listening. I've read some disturbing things recently that really concern me regarding the Jehovahs Witness, at least i'm not stressed out my head with it all...
