How I recently handled JWs at my door
by Christian guy inthe jws stopped by my house a couple weeks ago on a saturday morning.
i knew that with others most likely waiting for them out in the car they probably did not then have much time to engage in any serious conversation.
so i let them talk while i feigned interest in what they had to say.

i admitted no such thing, go back and read my first response to you, I said 'IF' there's no Jesus and God. You made the assumption I was an atheist and proceeded to quote lines from the bible and use those as your own personal instruction from Jesus to tell others who you have judged, that they shouldn't be hearing sacred things. Being slow to condemn would be a good start.
i personally don't view being quick to judge, condemning and lack of love as good qualities.

Losingit, you are 100% correct! that's exactly what JWN is for! what it's not for is public posting of your beliefs and then refusing to discuss or debate those thoughts you've put down in writing here. This is the first thread I've ever seen here that the poster has publicly stacted that he is happy to posts his beliefs but won't discuss them with those he personally believes Christ is talking about ( not discussing sacred things etc)
personally I think threads like this should be booted from JWN.
I'm happy that a few picked up on the disgusting words used, describing members here as dogs, and quite surprised at many others responses, whether the reasoning is to your liking or not, describing people here who contribute to this community and support each other as dogs not deserving of hearing the message isn't the way to endear yourself to the community. It's my way or the highway shouldn't work here. I hope Simon reads this thread.

I wasn't giving you a cold welcome, I was giving an option on your post. My personal feelings are that it's the height of arrogance to think that they are wrong and you personally have the 'true gospel of Jesus'
nice quote at the end there, alluding that I am a dog and not worthy of hearing the message. Utter arrogance. I find that attitude revolting. You have no idea who I am, no idea what my heart is like or the type of person I am. You are hardly likely to gain me as a brother, as it were, by making comments like the pearl before swine comment, quite disgusting.

I don't see what difference it makes what good news they are preaching, if there's no Jesus or god it makes not an iota of a difference. I don't see why they should be any more ashamed for what they believe or preach than you.
Ashamed, condemning themselves, feigning interest? Maybe you should look at your motives also.
