Like Bumble Bee said. We have snow on the ground, it is snowing right now as I type, and apparently we have quite a bit more on the way. I'll trade ya places for the rest of winter.

all four seasons in two days
by Hortensia inyesterday in palm springs the temperature was in the 80s, lovely and warm with a beautiful blue sky.
the wind came up during the night, when i woke up this morning it was cold and windy and cloudy.
about 10 a.m. i was in palm springs over by the airport, and it snowed!!!

World turned upside down...
by Carmel inthings were going swimingly today until i got home with the fancy chocolate peanut butter pie i had specially made for mrs. carmel.
got it into the house without arousing any suspicions and was putting it into the frig for a later valentines day surprise when it slid out of my hand and landed upside down on the kitchen floor...... .

Drinking & Jehovah's Witnesses
by minimus inyou know, i knew a lot of bethelites and every one of them loved their booze.
as an elder, i would entertain alot of the cos, dos and bethelites and their wives.
it was not unusual for the wives to get loaded while they were at my house!

HA! The reason I was hauled into a JC meeting was because of those alcoholic hypocrites. I am glad to because that is where I had my awakening. Man the stories I could tell regarding witnesses and alcohol. I have a bit more insight into it based on my past career, so I have a little 'behind the scenes' knowledge n this regard.

It is different here. It is different enough that I am taking the test for Toronto PD at the end of this year. I have lived all over the USA,including DC and there is a significant difference between here and there.

I am not a fan of Crystal Gayle, but I see what you are saying. You are right that is when music was music and it took talent. These talentless hacks coming out nowadays are pitiful. How hard is it to hook a track from a real song back in the day and butcher it up with asinine lyrics? On that note I will now jam out to some KISS.
