"Ever tried walking down the street with a Canadian flag? Or flown one on your house? I won't even visit Quebec with anything that has a Canadian flag on it. Quebec has its own version of ethnic cleaning. Make the English as miserable as possible. make it extremely difficult to get medial help in English, force them to speak French whenever they step outside their door." -Lady Lee
Ok that is a lie. Plenty of people display canadian flags. You just sound bitter because you do not have the ability or the will to learn a second language.
Being pro-French does not mean being anti-English.
Ethnic cleaning???? Gimme a fucking break!

Satanus: " in quebec, french is the only requirement. Is this hypocritical?"
Living in Montréal, I can say that unless you speak both French & English... you'll find work but will not make alot of money. Most decent jobs require that you understand and speak English.
Learning a second language isn't that hard. It is impossible to do business in this global economy unless you understand English. Québecois know this. They also know this in India. This is my analogy.
If I were to tell you that I am a baptized Jehovah's witness, that I no longer believe in the cult propaganda; but I stay in because my employer is a "brother". I think critically and want to make my own decisions, but I'm too afraid to lose my job. I hope you would tell me: "screw your job, even if you end up being poorer, you independance from the org is more important".
To those whose say Québec will never separate because of money, think again. It has nothing to do with it. -

Wow! So much racism in here.
I am Québecois. And yes I wish for political autonomy from Canada.
" Quebec is a shit-stain on Canada's landscape. We have poured BILLIONS into that province with it's fuken 'distinct society'.." - talesinIf anyone wonders why, I refer them to the above quote. Why would anyone want to be in a relationship where your partner sees you as a "shit-stain"????
We don't want your dirty oil money, Canada.
We don't want your Evangelical Prime Minister, Canada.
We do not care for your support to the state of Israel.
You can keep the name Canadiens (which you stole from us)
You can keep your national anthem (which we wrote)
Freedom for all.

Wow, indeed the exclusion thing is right in their face. While browsing further I founerrogent/etd the awake article on bullying
http://www.jw.org/fr/la-bible-et-vous/familles/adolescents/jeunes-s-intre-harcele/ This is the French version. They actually use the term Exclusion. This was the former term used in french for disfellowshiping before they changed it to excommunication. (mid 2000ish ???)

Just read the Lot story. I like how they skipped the part about Lot offering his daughters to these men who want to do bad things.

Change of tone in French WT
by aposta-Z inif some of you read the french version of the watch tawor (la tour de garde), i noticed recently, they have stopped using the formal "vous", for the more common "tu".
.
for non french speakers, both words mean "you".. but the word "vous" (second person plurial) is used out of respect when adressing strangers, and it is the pronoun usually used when adressing the public in a magazine, news paper, public adresses, etc.. i new the mighty wtb&ts was dumbing it down, but now they talk to them like they were children.

Several Sites Are Down
by Juan Viejo2 inin case you have noticed, several websites that are managed and administered by me are down.
at this moment i do not know specifically why, but my hosting company (secureserver.net) tells me only that it is due to a "copyright infringement.
" i do not even know which of the 30 some sites might actually have the claimed infringement and so far all i've been told is that there is a claim and that i have to email a certain group and they will get back to me.. i have no idea when these sites will come back on line.

Notes from a Talk on Evolution
by simon17 inso i've been cleaning out my house of theocratic stuff, but its still fun to look through everything and see how life was.
i looked through my study copies of bookstudy books and can pick the year based on the bands, sports players, songs, etc that are scribbled in the margins out of boredom.
also i laughed at how bored i must have been.
