  Should JW's Visit A Hypnotist?

  no!.

  i recall that the wt stated that one's mind was open to demon possession when in a hypnotic trance.. this is quite curious, during the 50's my dad dabbled in hypnotism prior to becoming a jw, one of his old pals told me that he saw him hypnotise a woman who then allowed him to stick pins in her thumb without her feeling any pain at all.. i have seen a hypnotist transfix a friend of mine to the floor, he was unable to move without the hypnotists ok.. i also have another friend who uses a light trance to help people overcome their fears, it seems to work well on peple who have to give seminars or perform on stage.. anyone here ever been hypnotised?.

  I knew of a JW woman who had DID. Then it was know as MPD (Multi-Personality Disorder). They "hinted" for everyone to stay away from her because she was "demon-possessed". She is still a JW, and in a worse condition then ever due to lack of true phycological help.

  Shooting.....Factory in Goshen, Indiana

  its not too often that this magnitude of a tragedy hits our small neck of the woods, but this one is big.

  apparently a disgruntled employee burst into a factory (nu wood), and shot around 35 employees......no details on the shooter yet, or the casulties.

  the factory is located in goshen, which is about 10 miles from my office here in elkhart, indiana.

  Why Jw's Are so Blind to the REAL TRUTH?

  now that i am out i have a hard time understanding why people accept these changes from the society as "new light" and than view it as "truth.".

  when i remember reading the scripture that "satan blinds the minds of the unbeliever.

  " i didn't know that scripture applies to jehovah's witness.

  When I left the JW's I had turned into "one of those born-againers". Still love God, although having a hard time calling him Jehovah due to their bad influence on His name, and now have a relationship with Christ and loving it!

  I find that fundies like the born-agains and the JWs are quick to question the motives of atheists, but rarely provide examples of clear reasoning on why God must exist. Most of the posts on why God exists only serve to show all how befuddled the poster's reasoning is.

  Let me say that I'm a "born-againer" and don't question motives of atheists. Other then moving through life, the best they can, like all of us on earth, I don't think there is some satanic motivation to "influence" others not to believe in God. If you got it, you got it. If you don't you don't. People who "lose" their "spirtuality" by becoming an athiest, didn't have one to begin with. No offense, but obviously people who became athiest, couldn't connect to a "supreme being". Facts to prove God exists, I don't have any. Proving the history of the Bible, imo, doesn't prove God exists. You can call it blind faith if you want, I call it gut feelings. No more then me having a gut feeling when I'm walking my usual beat. That's the only way that I can describe why I feel the way I do. Obviously, if you read some of my posts, you can see for yourself that I am not the most articulate soul in the universe. I'm definitely not a "sophisticated poster".
