JW's and driving abilities...

let me clarify.. i work for a police department that has a civic center where there are circuit assemblies held usually once a month..(give or take a few weeks.
anyhoo, i cannot count on my fingers and toes how many accidents i have had to work involving jw's.

I work for a Police Department that has a civic center where there are circuit assemblies held usually once a month..(give or take a few weeks. They are always around). Anyhoo, I cannot count on my fingers and toes how many accidents I have had to work involving JW's. How do I know they are JW's? Usually the songbooks flung across the road, or watchtower magazines, or the occassional tape in the tape player gives me the hint.
I also have had more JW's curse and swear after being involved in an accident then any other denomination. I think I really need to keep statistical track. I remember in particular a young boy dressed up, driving a nice Ford F150 Dooley, made an improper right turn coming out of a local fast-food joint and smacked a small volkswagon beetle. Well none the less, the guy in the VW bug is bleeding, and the JW is cursing up a storm about how his parents are going to f-ing kill him. I told him to be quite and mind his tounge. That I don't appreciate hearing words like that. (that was really for a point to embarrass him about his behavior because I f-ing curse all the time.). Well his dad shows up. He makes matters worse. Ya know, the type with the power trip, probably an elder. He came up asking me all sorts of questions. Most of them the normal type. Until he started to get an attitude with me about who was at fault and the wrecker service. Ok, I admit, I probably was a little edgy about the situation to begin with, but I was really putting on the poker face. (I was edgy because I had to assist with a serious injury accident earlier that morning involving a witness driving H.U.A. (Head Up Ass) Btw, in that crash the woman had no insurance.
I told him that the vehicle was going with the wrecker service because there was no way to drive it away, due to brake failure. I then casually (he he) admitted the wrecker service would require $176.00 in cash in order to get the vehicle out of tow. LOLOLOL...sorry, I have to laugh because his son demolished the VW Bug because he failed to look where he was going. So he started turning red in the face, when another officer jumped in and started to tell him where to put the attitude, or we'd find a place to put it, in the local jail facility. Of course, it was nice to know that when myself and the other officer were consulting each other near his patrol car, he was saying "She's a Jahovie, She's a Jahovie!". He knows that I am an ex-jw. Well, the other officer left to go to the hospital, because the other driver was transported by ambulance. Well to get to the point, the elder guy winds up leaving with his wife and son, after hassling the wrecker guy.
Okay, I know my post is extremely long, I haven't posted in a long time.
Back to the orginal question, is it me, or are JW's usually bad drivers?

UK Gun Laws: Possession = 5 Years Imprisonment.
by Englishman infollowing the deaths by shooting of 2 teenage girls last week, the uk government is speeding through even tighter gun controls than ever before.. already, high court judges have been told to impose a minimum 5 year jail sentence to anyone found in possesssion of a hand-gun in a public place.
also, consideration is being given to outlawing replica firearms as well as air powered weapons.

Ok... I HAVE to put my two cents in....
In the state of Georgia, crime statistics have significantly lowered since carry concealed permits were inacted. I love my handguns, rifles, and shotguns. I guess that is why I live in Georgia. Georgia does not require any registration of any handgun, shotgun, or legal rifle you purchase.
If you don't like handguns, then don't carry or own one. Oh, and when the cops show up to shoot the felon that is holding a gun to your head, ask us to put our guns down, since you are so adamit in your beliefs.

Alright..please bear with me. I rarely write long posts, but I need to set up the scene for what is to come..Two years ago, my sister was pregnant. It was great that she and her MS husband were socializing with me and my husband. Our relationship was really establishing. During her entire pregnancy, I was there to help console both of them because they were having problems with my JW mother. Well, my sister had promised me that I could go see her deliver the baby. As the time got closer, (two weeks prior to delivery) my sister phonecalled me and stated that I couldn't go to the hospital because there were going to be other JW's there. (BTW, she wanted me there to throw my mother out of the hospital). Anyhoo...she promised again that she would call me after the delivery of the child. That never came to be. Why I was surprised, I don't know. I should have expected it.
So time goes by, she stays in contact with my other ex-jw siblings. She told them that I "understood" why they had to shun me and that I was completely understanding.
Well, this past February, I wrote them a 12 page letter. My ex-jw sister calls me last month. She advised me that the husband, the MS, had stepped down from his position. He advised her that he was really disturbed by the letter. He said that my mother, who is a pedophile-pioneer, never was allowed to touch their daughter. He was asking if the other siblings would testify against my mother in a judicial hearing. Lo and behold, the elders would not accept testimony from any d'fd, d'ad or other ex-witness of my family.
Well..I know this isn't probably a big deal to others, but it was to me. Knowing that this letter has been bothering him for the past three months, and the turn down that he has gotten from the elders, I am going to tape tonite's episode of Dateline and mail it to them.
I am praying that they finally wake up about this issue. BTW, I was fortunate to escape the sexual abuse from my mother. I am hoping that this Dateline episode really helps those that have been abused to realize they are not alone. And wake people up that the witnesses coming to their doors aren't so innocent.
